The speaker explains a final ‘genetic modification’ stage in which cells release exosomes containing microRNA that can enter recipient cell nuclei and (the speaker claims) repair and rejuvenate DNA — producing longer-lasting effects by altering the cellular blueprint.
The last stage of the repair is what we call genetic modification. What happens is that when the cells secrete all these growth factors and other signals, one of the mechanism is that they send out these exosomes. So these exosomes actually contain tiny microrna that contains genetic information. But what they can do is that they can go inside your cell and actually go inside your cell nucleus. It can repair and rejuvenate your DNA. And that kind of effect would be much longer lasting because it's actually repairing the blueprint.
