Governance of medical practice is not under FDA jurisdiction. Doctors like you and I, even though I didn't go through the medical training as a surgeon, under my license, I can do surgery. Under my license I can inject anything that I think is beneficial for the human health as long as I can justify it.
Correct. So this is the practice of medicine. There are plenty of surgeons who take a weekend course in supernumerary training and they learn different surgical techniques that they weren't taught in residency or fellowship. And this is continuing education. This is what doctors do on a regular basis to stay, number one, abreast of current concepts in medicine, but number two, to be able to offer better surgical medical, in this case regenerative medicine techniques to maintain patients quality of life and improve patients outcomes.
