Joy Kong explains why her clinic's stem cells differ from others: they're used as tissue transplants without enzymes, chemicals, or expansion. Most clinics multiply cells into hundreds of millions, which can cause cellular degradation across generations.

The stem cells we use in our clinic, we do not need to have a clinical study because these are considered tissue transplants. They're not medications or drugs because they were produced without manipulation. So we don't use enzymes or any chemicals to change the cells in any way, and we don't multiply them. We don't expand them to huge numbers. So whenever you hear about people using stem cells in the number of 100, 200, 300 million cells, you can breed pretty sure that these are expanded cells to generate that kind of huge volume from a single donor. In the process of this growth of leading to many generations of cells, the cells do tend to degrade.
