The word "try" is an excuse that keeps you stuck. Either commit fully or don't do it. Set a concrete rule like no phone for the first and last 30 minutes of the day, then back it with a real penalty: $1,000 to a political party you oppose if you fail.

Try is like one of the worst words in the vocabulary. You either do or don't. And when, when guys say the T word in our club, they have to do push-ups. Try gives your brain an out. Okay, so commit or don't, and that's cool either way. But that's what I say to people. It's like, okay, if you're gonna do it, just commit to not touching your phone for the first 30 and the last 30 minutes and only do 1 hour a day of social media, just to start. That's very doable. Yeah. And then give yourself a consequence if you don't. $1,000 goes to the opposite political party that you despise. No one likes to give to the opposite political party. I like real money, real stakes.
