What advice would you give people who are really concerned about protecting their brain?
Yes, so one of the things that I have learned, the control the vagus nerve has on our entire being and body. When you stimulate the vagus nerve and you activate your parasympathetic nervous system, you can then get balance back and you can be more calm, you can be more attentive, you can be more focused throughout the day. The answers aren't always in a pill or a medication, it's more so in your state of mind and what you're doing. The mental side of things plays such an important role in everything that we do. You could be the best you can be with your diet and your training, but if you are stressed, if you have pain, memories, stress, lack of sleep, it doesn't matter. And vice versa. It's a balance. Why do people get angry? Why do they not, you know, sleep well? It's here. Sometimes you just gotta take a look in the mirror and ask yourself, what's the problem here? Is it something I'm doing? It's hard to lie to yourself in the mirror.
