I feel like for too long we have supported narcissistic people and called it leadership, and we've masked codependency and call it discipleship. And what we have done is exactly what you're saying, is that we allow one leader or one crop to grow, and then all of a sudden the entire body or the entire community around it has to cater to that one crop because you have one man or one woman that builds a culture, you either conform to it or you're rejected from it. Beautiful thing that Yahweh gives us in order to have good community, but we have to be wise.
