A farmer explains the Good Shepherd metaphor: the real shepherd opens the gate and leads you to abundance, but false shepherds mislead. The speaker urges you to ask the question that lets you hear the true voice, not the counterfeit ones.
It's the Good Shepherd that opens the gate. He is the door. As a farmer, I get to move sheep every day to a new spot. Keeps them healthy. They get to find what they need for their body to make them whole. Listen to me now. That sounds like abundant life to me, to be led and to learn the voice of the Shepherd. It says you won't be fooled by other voices. You won't be fooled by false shepherds. If you know the true voice of the Good Shepherd. And I'm afraid that we don't know the true voice. We're so afraid to ask the question that leads us to that place where we can hear.
