The human race committed murder of God, dicesium. We hoisted him on the cross. We tortured him. We cursed him. We damned him. We lifted him up in complete and utter rejection. And the Father, Son, and Spirit meet us in our rejection of Jesus and embrace us in everlasting mercy. They transfigure our covenant-breaking apostate murder of the Son of God into the mercy seat where we are embraced in everlasting mercy as we are in our brokenness. That's the divine embrace.
