The traditional school system can't survive AI. Adding tools or smaller classes won't fix it. Instead, education needs to be redefined from scratch, with homeschooling offered as one path forward when machines can handle all the facts.
So when I talk about reinventing education, yes, I would love for everyone to homeschool, but I realize that's not possible for everyone. But the point is, we're talking about not just taking AI and putting it in classrooms. I'm not talking about even just deciding that, okay, we're going to have like smaller classrooms, which although that would be nice, it still doesn't solve the actual problem. I'm talking about taking it down to the basics and rebuilding it from scratch. I'm talking about turning the bottle upside down and emptying it out and putting something new in and starting all over. Because the current school system is just not addressing the need at hand. And we first have to define what is education and what does it mean for you and what does it mean for your kids. And everyone should be also thinking about what does it mean in the era of AI? When AI knows everything, what do these kids actually need to know? So that's what I mean. Start all over. I mean, really, really reinvent it.
