In this solo episode of the Driving Impact podcast, host Katheline Jean‑Pierre opens by thanking a young professional listener, Katharine Jean‑Pierre, for her enthusiastic Spotify comment about the show. Katheline reads the comment, highlights the listener’s desire for inspiration as she begins her first post‑college role, and reflects on the excitement and uncertainty that accompany early career stages. She then shares her own philosophy on dreaming big: maintain a compelling, long‑term vision while taking small, daily "baby steps"—a balance she emphasizes especially as a mother of a toddler and a fractional chief revenue and growth officer who produces three podcast episodes weekly. Katheline announces an upcoming LinkedIn personal‑branding masterclass and a newsletter, explaining how rediscovering self‑expression on LinkedIn (or any chosen platform) can unlock opportunities such as new jobs, publishing, or broader audience reach. She advises listeners not to let anxiety derail their aspirations, urging patience and trust in "divine timing"—recognizing that success may unfold over years or even decades, and that appreciation grows when the journey is long or when something is lost. The episode concludes with a reminder that the audio will be distributed across platforms.

Welcome to Driving Impact. Hello, hello, hello, hello. Driving Impact, the Top 5% Method Collective. This is Katheline Jean-Pierre and I'm on a love tour to record as many videos as I can and audio snippets to thank everybody who's left comments, and I want to get to know you. I think as many podcasters will talk about the fact that sometimes you're like talking to yourself, but I'm, I'm interested in you. Like, I know me, and it's been a while that me and I have been together. So the next shout out is to Katharine Jean-Pierre. I really loved seeing your comment. She said, love this episode. She left it on Spotify comments. Love this episode. So inspiring as a young professional "Who just started my first role out of college." And I remember the moment when you start your first role out of college, it's just a magical moment. You have a lot of hopes and you have a lot of beautiful things that are opening up for you, and just figuring out how you're going to be able to thrive for the next 15, 20 years is essential. That was my commentary. So Katheline Jean-Pierre said specifically, "I love this episode. It's so inspiring as a young professional who just started my first role out of college." Then I added Katheline on LinkedIn, and I told her, "Thank you." Of course I replied to the comment on Spotify. And then she said, of course, I recently discovered your podcast while working. And also I'm always constantly searching for who's, who's in this space. And I must say, I'm a new fan. I love to tune in while getting ready for work in the morning. She said, you do a great job of sharing meaningful stories of those that you interview and inspire your listeners like me to see what's possible. Smiley, keep it up. And I'd love to stay connected. So Katheline Jean-Pierre and I are now connected, and I love to have any and all the feedback of what's helpful. So what I'm gleaning from this is that she likes the inspiration and she likes to understand what is possible. Can we make the dream come true and live the life of your dreams? Really, it's, um, dream big. There's a whole movement about not dreaming too big or dreaming small. Even my friend and podcast guest Scott. Pete Taylor was like, don't dream too big because it's scary, it's daunting. I think my commentary to that is I'm always gonna dream big, but I'm not gonna dream big every day. I'm gonna have a vision that's big enough to excite me, to entice me to become better, and I'm gonna take baby steps every day. I'm not gonna go big every day. There's no way. I'm a mom of a toddler. I got busy, a busy life, this podcast that like creating 3 episodes a week is an extreme sport. I also do fractional consulting as a chief revenue and growth officer, and I'm working on secret projects I can't talk about, but I also, I'm about to launch my LinkedIn personal branding masterclass that I'm going to put online for people who want to get started on building their brand online. And I think it's super important. I will talk more about it, like what is the goal of building their brand online? And in my newsletter I'm publishing tomorrow, Friday, August 29th, I'm going to say, hey, you see me on LinkedIn? You think it's just for fun? Yes, it's for fun, but LinkedIn has actually opened up, and it could be any platform. I don't work for LinkedIn, this is not sponsored, there's no sponsors. So it's just any platform you choose, whether it's like TikTok, YouTube, like it's just for me it was LinkedIn where I just fell in love again with a platform. It's not even fell in love with a platform, it's because I rediscovered my self-expression. So I think And when you do that, opportunities abound, whether it's finding a new job, whether it's some people is publishing a book and you, everybody can publish a book, right? But then it's going to have 3 reviews on Amazon. Then what is the impact that it drives? You want to have, if you have an important message, you want to have people to reach the audience. And that's why it's important to have one platform. That's Devloft. Or maybe you don't, maybe you want to work at a job or you have your own business and you don't need. One platform that stands out. It all depends on where you are in your journey. So back to Katheline now. Well, thank you for leaving a note. I realized that it brings me back to my first job where I had, I was very excited. I was very inspired. I didn't know what my career would look like. You know, you're going to make it, but you're not clear. It's like, we didn't make it. So then anxiety comes along the way. Just don't. My recommendation to you all, don't get anxious. That's the worst thing that ever happens when you get depressed and anxious. You can have an aspiration, a vision for yourself in the future. It's going to come in divine timing. It's not going to come always the same day. It might be 20 years in the making, but you will appreciate it more. Uh, there's two ways to appreciate it more. When it takes time to get there, and then sometimes it's when you lose it. So hopefully it's not going to be losing it that's going to make you appreciate the dream that you've brought to life and the dream that's become a reality. Okay, this was a video on Spotify and it's going to be an audio on all the other platforms. Bye-bye! Welcome to Driving Impact.
