In this solo podcast episode, Katheline Jean-Pierre shares her personal journey of building a public brand authority after feeling stuck as an internal “best‑kept‑secret” at companies like LinkedIn and Google. She outlines how she grew a near‑100,000‑person community across LinkedIn, a newsletter, and a podcast, highlighting a jump from 3,300 to about 37,000 LinkedIn followers—accelerated five‑fold in the last eight months through consistent posting. Katheline promotes her free masterclasses and bootcamps that teach others how to stop being their industry’s hidden talent, create thought‑leadership opportunities, and leverage their brand for collaborations, brand deals, and paid speaking gigs across Europe, North America, and Africa. The episode serves both as a status update and a call‑to‑action for listeners to join her community and develop their own brand‑building pathways.

Hello, hello, hello, hello, Top 5% Collective! This is Katheline Jean-Pierre, and today I'm excited to talk a little bit about the journey. It's 2026, we're in the Year of the Fire Horse, and a year ago I took on a personal challenge which was building my own brand authority. And why it's important is because I was kind of stuck in the anxious middle where I wanted to be able to elevate my voice, but I was still the best kept secret in the companies I worked at. Which is LinkedIn, which is Google. People knew me internally and called me the legend, but where externally I was nonexistent. So today I want to tell everyone and announce that I'm almost at 100,000 people community, which is totally crazy. Most of it is LinkedIn and my newsletter and, uh, the podcast. So it's something that's super important, and I want to talk a little bit about one of the masterclasses I ran about this. So if you wanna attend the bootcamp and stop being your industry's best kept secret, well, follow us, the podcast here on Spotify, on Apple. Stay connected because I'm always announcing the bootcamps and the masterclasses. The masterclasses are mostly free, and then you can also decide how you're gonna develop your own journey of being a thought leader. To be able to build a brand and create options sometimes outside of your company. Sometimes it's for your company and sometimes it's outside of your company for your company and ultimately for yourself. I did LinkedIn for 3 years, but it's only after I left that I grew 10 times faster, which is crazy. When I started LinkedIn, I had 3,300 followers and then now I'm getting close to 37,000 followers. But the beauty of it all, it's in the past 8 months I started posting consistently, and that's when I 5x my growth. And it's not even about the numbers of likes or comments. No, it's about the brand deals, it's about the collaborations, it's about the opportunity of traveling the world, being paid to speak in Europe, in Canada where I'm from, in the US, and also I went to Africa. Welcome to Driving Impact.
