My one simple thing is how do you become a problem solver, not just a problem seeker? And multiple people talk about it. People love to book one-on-ones with me and tell me what the problem is, dissect the problem. But when it's time to raise their hand, who wants to tackle the problem? The ostrich syndrome comes back. Everybody puts their head in the sand and run away. And they're like, "You leader, you're gonna solve it." But the thing is that people need to know is the path to becoming the next leader in whatever the ambition is, the next step or the next big step, and you gotta become a problem solver. And there's some stories that people don't talk about. For example, Larry Page, one of the co-founders of Google, and the role of Sundar Pichai. So apparently the rumors say that Larry would come, talk to his team, and then leave the room, and then people would be like, 'What did Larry say? What does he want?' Sundar will be like, 'Let me break it down for you.' So he's able to translate and make the complex simple to be able to drive impact and to take actions. And he was like this translator of Larry. So how can you become this person who can find solutions to the problems and then come with a couple of solutions or ideas or even just having the willingness of solving the problem? Become a problem solver in your organization. It's gonna change the world. People are gonna put you in rooms that you didn't have access to. Sometimes me, when I didn't know how to solve the problem, but I would volunteer and I was very interested in solving some problems. Welcome to Driving Impact.
