Can everyone hear my loud American voice? Yes! My name is Kay, and I am so pleased to be here with such a good crowd. We have people from so many different countries. We have some small Copenhageners here too. That's really good. Welcome to you as well. My name is Kay Xander Mellish. Some of you may know me from my podcast. If you don't, it's free on iTunes and Spotify. I've been doing that for 5 years, so it will cover just about anything you're interested in when it has to do with living in Denmark. Many people ask me, Kay, how did you get to Denmark? They often assume that I fell in love and came here to marry a Dane. As a matter of fact, that is the number one search on Google if you search for me: Kay Xander Mellish husband. Secret is, I don't have a husband. I'm still searching for one. That's not why I came here. I came here for a job many years ago. I came to Copenhagen on vacation, liked it, looked for a job, uh, got a job, came back, and I've been here ever since. I'm now a Danish-American dual citizen, so I really like Denmark. And Danes, whatever I say about Denmark, I say it out of love.
