Hey, day 250, Sam Daughtry, who came to visit me in the Bell 47 got his CFI rating 61 years old. And that was the end of his email he sent to me. Oh, and for your viewers, I'm 61 years old, never too late. Sam's been here twice. He visited us in the bell 47. He also came for another day. We did a video on pilot shortage. Sam flies for ups, flies the big airplane and we even have a photo he sent in of hanging a HOGS helicopter on ground school shirt out the window of the jet, which was really cool. So I just wanted to share this. Today in day 250, Sam sent me an email. I'm now a helicopter CFI. As with my commercial certificate. One year ago, all my ground prep was with FAA reference materials and of course hogs. Bulk of the credit goes to my still awesome instructor Renee of JR Aviation, Sellersburg, Indiana. And he said your product is second to none. Enjoying coffee with Kenny. Sincerely, Sam Daughtry. Oh, and your viewers, I'm 61 years old, never too late. So I'll share a picture or I shared. I'll share it there in the beginning and share it again right now of Sam with his dpe. So congratulations Sam. That's awesome. You know, especially now that he's been here twice to visit us, do videos with us again. He's been in two Coffee with Kenny videos. So now he's in day 250 celebrating his CFI. Oh yeah, and he's in another video too where we talked about his instructor, 71 or 72 years old. I can't remember which video that was in. But so, so Sam has been as a ground school member a fun part of the coffee with K Kenny videos and we enjoy having him. He's a lot of fun when he comes up as a super experienced airline pilot. Right. And what Sam's gonna do when he gets to retirement age, he can still fly helicopters and be do CFI work because he's not limited by the age limit. Right. How cool is that? So day 250 is a congratulations to Sam on your helicopter CFI. There you again. Proof. And I wanted to point out, I like how he said all my ground prep was with FAA reference materials and of course hogs. And that's when I when we go through like in the private pilot portion of helicopter on ground school and we tell you the minimum things you're going to need. There are so many different things out there that a person can use, of course, but you can also overwhelm yourself mater with materials. And I know in the videos in the past Sam said, hey, you know, I use the required FAA things that we have to have and I use Hux and that's it. I'm going to sign out. Still some nursing this damn cold. Hopefully I'm about to the end of it. So thanks for joining us for day 250 like and subscribe to the channel. When you subscribe, click that little bell. So be notified of the daily video.
