Day 291. This may be the fastest copy with Kenny ever. Good question, but a simple question from a ground school member. This is for Logan. He's working on his ratings. He's going to part 141 school funded by the GI Bill. That's awesome. And he's going for rotor wing. Professional pilot is what he wants to do. And he wants to fly maybe EMS eventually. And so he said when companies are asking for hours without being specific, like turbine time, would most accept fixed wing experience as well? I'm thinking about working on a fixed wing add on so I can afford that training myself and try and decide whether to do it now or wait. Even though the plan is still to be mostly rotor time, if I were to cure 100 hours or so in fixed wing in the meantime, would you think that would help? Absolutely. Logan, I'm going to give you an example. I have seen EMS jobs where the average, the required time is like 2000 total hours, 1500 helicopter time, you know, and then the other 500 could be fixed wing. So I think your plan is good. You want to be a helicopter pilot, that's great making your focus the rotor wing. But airplanes are fun. I did my airplane rating after being a helicopter pilot and you're right, they're more accessible, they're cheaper to fly, you can get them almost anywhere and it's just a lot easier to get a hold of a plane. And they are fun to fly for fun. So I would say yes. If you're wanting to do it and you can afford it, I'd go ahead and do it now because it's not gonna hurt you one bit. And yes, later on that, you know, couple hundred hours or 100 or 200 hours you have a fixed wing time may very well help depending on the job that you're going for. So it is a good plan. So hope that answers the question. We're gonna wrap it up and get out of here. Maybe the fastest ever. Subscribe the channel. Click the bell. We do a topic every single day answering your questions.
