Got it?
Like, are y'all ready?
Like, woo! Okay, y'all not there yet? Okay, I'm gonna get you there, okay? We're gonna get there together. Are you where you want to be in your career right now? Just think about it. Do you know where you want to go in your career?
Kenston did exceptionally well today. It's about, "I can, I must, I will own my life and my career." You know, people need that encouragement, and he definitely provided that today. Repeat after me, I own.
I own my career development. Not anybody else, but myself. Why do we want to move forward in our career? What's in it for you?
Success.
What else? Accomplishments, goals, stability.
I thought that the presentation was amazing. As a millennial in the workplace, I found it very enlightening. Things to look forward to and things that I've experienced myself and really haven't had any insight on, you know, kind of how to deal with it and process things. So I really did find it very insightful.
So leadership is about having a winning mindset despite the odds, despite that there hasn't been any movement for a couple years, is I can learn anything I want to. So if there's something you want to do, you can learn it. You say, but Kenston, I can't. I don't know what to do. I don't know how to do that. Guess what?
Phone a friend.
I'm not I am hustling to be average. Y'all read that. Read that out loud. I am hustling to be average. I am hustling to be amazing. Nah, y'all gotta read that a little bit louder. I am hustling to be average. I am hustling to be amazing.
I like to mentor and motivate people too. And so to hear the things and the nuggets he gave, so many golden nuggets today, you know, to actually, that people could walk away and apply to their lives. I love that he brought a handout so again that they You could take it away and actually be able to share that, you know, continue to reflect on it.
So you must declare that you're going to be the best version of yourself. How do we get there? If you're doing life alone, you're doing it all wrong. If you're the smartest person in your network or group, you must change groups. You can keep that group, but you must join another group too. I will.
I will.
I must. I must. Face.
Face.
My fear.
My fears. We're all in this together, y'all, and you're not alone. People again may not say it, but we got stuff to do, places to go, people to impact.
The presentation was awesome. It was absolutely, I think, what we needed. Being a supervisor at one time, it's very important that we see things things like this take place to where we have somebody that can come in outside of the company and motivate people to continue to strive for their purpose and goal.
