In this youth‑focused motivational video, Kenston Henderson, Chief Empowerment Officer of Live With Life, addresses students who are on a 3‑4‑week school break due to COVID‑19. He frames the break as a valuable opportunity for personal growth rather than idle time. Henderson outlines three core strategies: (1) adopting the right mindset—viewing the break as a chance to advance academically and personally; (2) maintaining clear focus through detailed daily scheduling that balances study, exercise, hobbies, and downtime; and (3) exercising great courage by tackling challenging, self‑directed learning projects, exemplified by a specific assignment to read a book and write a one‑page paper on leadership. He concludes with an encouragement to subscribe to the Live With Life channel and a reaffirmation that the youth are capable of making the most of their weeks. The tone is upbeat, conversational, and encouraging, aiming to inspire confidence and proactive behavior in young viewers.

Hi, I'm Kenston Henderson, your Chief Empowerment Officer of Live With Life. This is the Youth Edition. Youth Edition! Woo! I know you're excited. I'm excited too. This is one of many videos that I will be starting to do for our youth. I want to, I really want to equip you, I want to inspire you, I want to encourage you, I want to motivate you to be the best version of yourself as a youth. We understand there's all types of pressures, peer pressures, coming at you, the pressure of social media, and I want to be the source to help you navigate through your life as a youth. So let's get started. I heard you all get at least 3 to 4 weeks off of school. What? How crazy is that? But listen, I want to encourage you to take full advantage of these next 3 to 4 weeks. Why? Because we got things to do, places to go, people to see, and lives to impact. And, and so I'm going to give you 3 things to help you have an amazing week over these next few weeks. Are you ready? All right, so I want to gift you with having the right mindset. Having the right mindset is crucial to the next few weeks that you have. Meaning you're not looking at the next few weeks as an all fun in the sun and I'm just gonna skip through the tulips. No, you're looking at it as an opportunity to be able to learn more, right? Because there's other students, there's other students your age that are just sitting at home and not doing anything but playing video games and eating and sleeping and on their social media pages. But you're different. You're special because you have the right mindset that says, you know what, I need to push along in my math class. I need to push more in my, my science or my social studies. I need to learn more about the Egyptian history or the African-American history or world civilization, whatever it is. These next few weeks are a perfect opportunity for you to do so. And by you having that right mindset, that is positioning you to be even smarter, more intelligent when you get back to school. What? Yes, you have the opportunity to level up right now, but it's up to you. So let's have the right mindset. The other one is focus, clear focus. And see, what that looks like is you're not going to just let these next few weeks pass you by. You're actually going to sit down, maybe grab a parent or two, and write down your daily schedule. Let's get so focused that you know exactly what you're gonna do from the time you wake up until the end of the school day that it would normally be. So you'll schedule something at 8 o'clock, whether it's just breakfast, then 8:30, that could be exercise, then 9 o'clock and so forth. And then you start writing down all your classes. Your whole class schedule, put in a break in between there, put in some downtime, put in some fun time. You know, for example, I gave my son time for him to, you know, play basketball, practice basketball, or practice his instrument. What are you gonna do in that time? And third, I need you to have great courage. I need you to have the great courage to again understand and know that It's not gonna be all fun and games, but you're tackling some things that you would otherwise put aside. But remember, you are special, and I want to encourage you to know that you can do it. You can research things without the internet. What? You say, "Kenston Henderson, how can I do that?" Let me tell you how. If you have books in your house, Go read a book and do some research on something that you've never even thought about, never even wanted to know anything about it, but create a special project for yourself and write a one-page paper. In fact, that's my challenge to you, is grab a book and write a one-page paper. Depending on how old you are, you might be able to just write a paragraph or write a one-page paper. At least about something that you've never even thought about. And if you don't have anything in mind, I'll give you one. First challenge is leadership. What is leadership? What does it mean to you? And how can you be effective in it? Alright, that's all for now. Make sure you subscribe to Live With Life on my YouTube channel and on my Facebook page, Live With Life. But I want you to stay encouraged. I want you to have a right mindset, clear focus, and great courage because you're gonna need it these next few weeks to be amazing because that's who you've been called to be. Take care and make your week great. Bye now.
