The video captures a live session of the Game Changer Public Speaker Bootcamp hosted by Kenston Henderson. Kenston introduces the event, emphasizes growth over perfection, and promotes the upcoming March 27, 2026 bootcamp and a six‑week group‑coaching program. Two participants, Delrita Parks and Kenisha Dillard, share their experiences. Delrita describes moving from feeling inadequate to delivering a confident talk, highlighting her background as a psalmist, Toastmasters participant, and founder of Women of Transformation. Kenisha recounts a career‑ending gymnastics injury, subsequent struggles with regret and addiction, and her transformation into a leadership development coach launching her own business. Both discuss the bootcamp’s structure, the DIP speech framework, and the FEAR (False Evidence Appearing Real) mindset used to manage anxiety. Kenston repeatedly stresses the importance of audience awareness, authentic storytelling, and the practical benefits of the program, including 7 HR certification credits (PHR/SPHR). The session ends with a call to action for viewers to join future bootcamps and continue the coaching journey.

Alright, welcome, welcome, welcome, great people. Listen, today, the Game Changer Public Speaker Bootcamp talks. I am Kenston Henderson, and I am excited today for you to witness some amazing game changer speakers. Like, it's about to go up in here. So these speakers have been sharpening their message, strengthening their voice. And today they're putting it all on the line, like they are going to deliver the talks that, you know, they worked on during the speaker boot camp. Because here's the thing, they're committed totally to leveling up their communication, to strengthening their voice. And today, this is their time to go live in front of a live audience. See, this is, this is what happens when you decide that isn't— it's not about perfection, it's about growth. And I'm so grateful that I have two amazing women that are coming to the stage. Like, I mean, if y'all, if y'all live and in the chat, you know, just say that you are ready for this to take place because it's about to happen. Like, it's about to go up in here. So ladies, are y'all ready?
Yes.
Uh-huh. Uh-huh. See, Kenisha, you ready? I don't know.
Yes, let's do this.
And see, if those who are jumping on, if this excites you, if this inspires you today, you know, I want you to get ready because you are needing— going to need to jump into the next speaker boot camp that is taking place in 2026, and I believe the date is March 27th. I'm just throwing that out there. But in this time, I need you to be cheering on these two incredible women as they lean in, and that they, they have both leaned in during this speaker boot camp. And, and now we're going deeper into the, the 6 weeks of group coaching. And so they have different challenges that they are going to be doing throughout the 6 weeks, because they desire, they desire to become even better speakers. And I'll put it as speakers, whether it's public or professional, because they have different aspirations. But I believe wholeheartedly that they are going to get exactly what they need to become the best at what they desire to be the best at. And the first step is getting their speaking, their communication skills together, because It is a necessary component and it's an essential skill that I believe every business owner, every leader should have. Because if you don't know how to communicate, you will soon not probably have a business if you do not know how to communicate your message clearly. And so these skills are essential. So we're going to dive in, dive into this. So Delrita, welcome. Welcome, Kenisha. Welcome. Tell me, let's start with Delrita first. How was your experience, I would say, leading up to the speaker boot camp? Like, were you nervous? What was going through your mind?
I was so excited for the opportunity when I initially saw it. I'm like, okay, I want to do that. And so I hop right in and It was a great experience to really stretch myself. I do speak already and I've come a long way. When you hear my story, you'll see. But I want to really fine-tune when I'm speaking in front of people and really get my message clear and precise that they understand what I'm saying and really catch a hold of my story.
That's awesome. That's awesome. Canisha, what about you? What about you?
Yes.
So as a trainer and a coach, I really wanted to perfect my skill. But most importantly, I want to be a professional speaker, a paid professional speaker. I have a story to tell. I have lives to change, and I want to do it with excellence.
And with elevated training and Kenston Henderson CSP EPIC Experiences Guaranteed, you're the one.
You're the one to lead the way. Let's go. Let's go. Now, during the speaker boot camp, y'all was with me for over 6 hours. How was that time? Did it seem like a drag? Or what did you feel during that time? Kaneesha, what you got?
Yes, I was engaged the whole time. And I will say, as a trainer, the one that's usually doing the talking, it's difficult for me to sit down all day and listen. And there was not a moment where I felt drained or, oh, I was engaged the whole time. And there wasn't a time where I felt like, oh, I know this already. Oh, I'm doing this already. It was challenging. It was challenging, and it was humbling to apply that. And I even got nervous, you know, during the talks and our, you know, our practice. So it was good.
It was growth.
What was the part that made it— what were you nervous about?
Like, You know, I was nervous because we had to come up with, um, we had to do our DIP theory or our DIP speeches and learn that, you know, structure.
And it was something new that I had never done before.
So like, oh, having to formulate that and even apply the different methods of speaking, like our tones, our pitch, when to pause, and then making sure when we are going up as speakers and presenters, where's our mind at? Are we going up drenched in fear or are we going up fearless and giving ourselves grace?
If we do make a mistake or fumble or bumble, it's okay.
Yeah, that's good. That's good. What about you, Delrita?
When I came into the room, it was exciting. And Kenston Henderson CSP EPIC Experiences, you can't help but be pump up the room, you know, it's energizing. So that made it fun. And, um, I love the fact that when you were training and teaching us, you were talking about knowing your audience and different techniques and tools, how to understand who your audience is, even if you're doing a podcast, to know the person who's doing the podcast and their audience and who they're talking to. So you can really address the audience that you're talking to at the time, whether if it's young people, if it's older people, if it's corporate America, just if it's in your neighborhood, kind of relate to that atmosphere, that environment, and that audience so that you can really get your message across on their level. And so I really appreciate that, honing in on that topic. I love the fact that you allowed us to be our authentic self and let us grow from the place where we are. I didn't feel pressure, so that relaxed me. I'm like, oh, and I'm a little perfectionist, so I do appreciate the fact that you that you said we don't have to be, um, you know, perfect, but, uh, to continue on. So that really, you know, really put some relief, uh, to how you feel. And the rest of the, um, time, it was, um, I felt some uncertainty at times, not because of what you were doing, just because it was new for me. And so that made me feel a little, a little uneasy. But, um, other than that, it was an awesome experience. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who has a business, a pastor, a minister, anyone who's an entrepreneur, um, to, um, hop in in the Game Changer Public Speaking. Because there doesn't matter how young you are, it doesn't matter how old you are, there's always room for improvement. So I'm really excited to continue this journey. Kenston, thanks so much.
No, absolutely, absolutely. No, again, you both, you both leaned in, and, and that is a part of this journey of becoming who you desire to become as a speaker. And, you know, one of the acronyms I gave was, you know, the FEAR and False Evidence Appearing Real. And that sometimes can stifle people, people's growth if they allow it. And so, of course, we got to flip it on its head and face everything and rise. And the more you get that, that game changer mindset, then you're able to navigate through those times of uneasiness and the unknown, and you're able to reach those goals. So, no, thank you again for leaning in. So those who have joined us, they are waiting to hear you all speak, and I'm getting out of the way. And so we're going to do— put— I'm gonna put 5 minutes on the clock, and those who are listening, they are going to do their speeches that they created. You know, started creating in the boot camp, and now they've refined it and got it even— made it even better, even tighter, and they're gonna give it to you right now. And so coming to the stage, we have Delrita Parks.
Thank you so much, Kenston. I'm so excited to be here. First of all, I want to start out with a question. Have you ever felt like you weren't enough? Not smart enough, not experienced enough, not worthy enough to share your voice, or if you even had any words to share of value? For the longest time, that was my reality. I felt profoundly inadequate to speak in front of people. I had this one experience when I was 33 years old. I'm a psalmist, and I was singing, and the soundtrack stopped. It started having glitches in the system. And so they told me to talk, and it was about 800+ people in the audience. And I just stared at them like a deer staring at headlights. I didn't say a word. I was paralyzed. I couldn't say anything. And from that point, you know, I prayed about it and I said, Lord, I need help in this area of public speaking. I'm just so terrified. And at that point, I wanted to face my fear of public speaking head on. And so at my job, they had a Toastmasters chapter that came. I joined and I continued my journey every week for a whole year until I noticed significant improvement. And so I was able to lead my presentation in college for our group assignment. I've been able to have speaking engagements. I've been able to head up presentations at my workplace. I've even opened my own business, Women of Transformation. Even with some success, I was operating from a place of uncertainty, keeping me from reaching my full potential, and that was no longer acceptable. And I started to focus on the gifts God had given me, which were encouraging, supporting, and helping others, which is my passion. So I became a certified life coach, a health coach, and self-development isn't easy, but it's worth committing to the process. My journey stepping out of inadequacy into the assignment of sharing Women of Transformation 3-Pillar Methodology transform your life, it's an ongoing becoming. Transform your health, the energy to execute your plan and transform your style. How are you showing up in the world? How are you carrying yourself? Today, my mission is clear, continually to develop myself into the person I need to be to operate in my God-given assignment. I encourage you to identify your gifts and use the Transformation 3 Pillar Method to support your journey. Because your gift will make room for you. Thank you.
Let's go. That's good. That's good. How you feeling?
Well, great. I did it.
Yes, you did do it. Yes, you did do it. Awesome, awesome, awesome. So listen, Delrita again is a testimony of, again, just sharpening her tools so that way she can deliver her story. Like each of us out here, those who are watching now, has a story that needs to be shared. And you may be thinking, well, I don't, I don't speak well enough to do that. Well, I'm gonna tell you, just lean in, get support, surround yourself with the right people, and you're gonna be able to share that story. And it may just take a framework, it may just take a, a simple encouragement from someone else going along this journey with you. But I encourage you, you need to share your story because someone is going to be touched by it. And so thank you, Delrita, for leaning in and sharing your story. Let's go! All right, Kenisha Dillard. Kenston Henderson CSP, come on to the stage, it's showtime!
All right, have you ever faced a moment in your life when everything changed in an instant, leaving you questioning who you are and what your future holds? Yeah, I definitely have. But what if I told you that the challenges you face don't define you, but instead can become the foundation of your greatest achievements. When people meet me today, they see a woman who embodies boldness, courage, and kindness. Someone unapologetically different. They see a giver of wisdom, a training extraordinaire, and a leadership development coach, always encouraging others to break free from their limitations and embark on their own life-changing adventures. But what people often overlook about me is the story beneath the surface. It's a story that shaped the woman I am today. As a child, I was a highly competitive gymnast. Training alongside Olympians and amazing athletes. I was the youngest competitor at the Junior Olympics, even featured in the local newspaper. I was paving the way towards a full-ride college scholarship. My future seemed so bright. Then, in a split second, everything shattered. And during a simple routine dismount I had done many times, I landed wrong and my knee popped twice.
This wasn't just pain.
It was the slow end of my identity. With this injury came the painful loss of my dream. The cheers and awards turned into silence as I faced the devastating reality of an ACL injury. Gradually, doors closed and I felt invisible, special only when I was being a top competitor. I left gymnastics, not just the sport but a part of myself. And then tragedy struck a second time. With a second ACL injury a few years later.
At this point, I felt doomed.
The Goliath of regret always cast a shadow over me, where trauma became my companion and pain became my default, and addiction was my medicine. But here's where the story changes. Not because someone saved me or my circumstances magically got better, but because I chose to change and I began to rebuild. I chose to rise and I took down the Goliath of regret that haunted me and whispered lies about my worth and my identity. I embarked on— I embraced that dark journey not as a prison, but as a place of transformation. Today, I stand before you as a woman who is healed, whole, and healthy. An empowered leader who coaches officials that shape the future of our cities. I've trained teams coast to coast. Creating environments where transformation isn't just hoped for, it's expected. I'm that reckless encourager, the one pulling people upwards towards hope, and I'm giving it out like it's growing on trees, overflowing and abundant. And I'm just days away from launching my own business, Dillard's Professional Services. So I stand here not as someone with all the answers, but as a woman refined by fire, one who has rewritten her story through resilience. And I'm here to share that your past is merely a chapter, it's not your definition. If I can rebuild my life and step into my true purpose, then so can you. So I ask you, what will you choose? Will you let your challenges define you, or will you rise to become the person you were always meant to be? And thank you for allowing me to share my story, and I can't wait to see how you rewrite yours. Thank you.
Yeah, that is awesome, awesome, awesome. Thank you, thank you. You did that, you did that. How you feel? How you feel?
I feel really good.
Good. Yeah, really good. It's good. Powerful stories, powerful stories that can change and transform lives. And, and I'm always saying, you know, each of our stories are seeds. And there's seeds that will, will take root on the right person that is ready to receive them. And once they receive them, it's gonna be somebody else that comes by and water them. Y'all know that thing, y'all know that thing. And then it's just going to, just going to sprout up, it's going to increase, and impact happens and takes place. So great job, Kenisha, great job. Yeah, I listen, I definitely could tell the difference between day one at the boot camp and then this one now. You put some— yeah, you put some heart in that, which is great. I'm telling you folks, when you share your story, people are going to be encouraged, people are going to be inspired. And it is just moving past that— the— maybe this— it's the stories in your head that's telling you reasons why not to share your story. I've known, I've worked with people who say, you know what, you know, people are not ready to hear my story. Well, I think they are, and they need to hear it. Or again, I don't feel comfortable, you know, sharing it. Okay, well, cool. Well, let's get a piece of the story and work it so that way you can bit by bit as you go on your healing journey, that you're going to be able to tell it from a victory standpoint, because you are victorious, because you're already living, um, living from that— not even from that space, but you've conquered that area of your life. And, um, and there's great healing when you release that story to other people. So it's good. And, and like, you know, I just put up, you don't need to be perfect, you just need to be prepared. And so these women have prepared for this day, and I'm truly excited and grateful I got to spend time with them, and I get to spend time with them because they're going on to 6 weeks of continuous group coaching, and we're going to dive deep, and they're going to be challenged, and it's going to be good. Are y'all ready for that challenge?
We're ready. Ready.
Uh-huh. Uh-huh. Yeah. Because my, you know, my thing is if we can put ourselves in different situations for, for growth to take place, it's going to happen, right? The more we lean into it. But if we stay in our comfort zones, change won't happen. It just simply won't happen. And so I'm excited to go on this journey with you all. And so those who do desire to tell their story, to speak up more, to be a better community, even better communicator, to be a speaker on stages, to deliver what you have been put on this earth to deliver. We got more Game Changer Boot Camps coming up. And so our next one is going to be March 27th. It's actually going to be on a Friday, all day Friday. And so you're trying something a little bit different. Because I've been having it on Saturdays, and we're just gonna see if that changes anyone's day to be able to spend a whole day with this. This sort of the training is certified, and so if you are an HR professional, you do get 7 credits towards your PHR, SPHR certification. And so, excuse me, definitely worth the time and the investment. So with that said, folks, I think we're finished.
I think we're awesome.
Great job leaning in. Thank you. Um, and I'm excited to keep this going, so I'mma put this outro on and we're gonna go.
Thank you so much, I appreciate it.
Singing.
