All right, let's talk about 3 leadership myths. You see, many people in my industry believe that a leader, one, has to be an extrovert. Number 2, has to have all the answers. And number 3 is that leaders and managers are the same, but they're wrong. And here's why. You see, for years I've heard that if you were an extrovert, you were leadership material, but that couldn't be further from the truth. Okay. You see, introverts can be great leaders as well because They thrive by listening to understand and engaging in critical thinking. You see, great leaders that I have been privileged to be around have had a blend of both introverted and extroverted traits. Number 2, leaders, I need you to repeat after me. I don't have to have all the answers. Go ahead and say it. I don't have to have all the answers. Let go of the pressure of trying to figure out everything on your own. This is where the beauty of diversity comes in. You see, diversity in thought and in execution can be powerful when stewarded well. You see, you have my permission, your brother from another mother, Kenston Henderson CSP EPIC Experiences, to lean on the amazing employees that you lead. Let's go. And number 3, know that there's a distinct difference between leaders and managers. You see, leaders inspire and influence and encourage those around them, whether they have a leadership title or not. Okay, managers set and enforce rules and control a group in order to accomplish and set goals. So that's the difference. You see, for years now I've been equipping managers and leaders by helping them understand the differences and the similarities in leadership— between leadership and management. You got questions, meet me in the comments. If you want to jump in my leadership mastermind group, direct message me and let's make it happen.
