In this motivational monologue, the speaker argues that spending money to grow a business is essential despite the cliché surrounding the phrase. Drawing from personal experience, they identify three concrete investments that propelled their own business forward: (1) building and periodically redesigning a professional website that serves as a brand ambassador when they are not directly interacting with clients; (2) attending personal and professional development conferences—specifically the National Speakers Association (NSA) conference and the Presence Conference—to refresh, refocus, and revive their purpose through networking and learning; and (3) purchasing a social‑media content package that supplies two years of daily posting prompts, eliminating the need to brainstorm content and enabling consistent audience engagement. The speaker frames these actions as necessary self‑investment, encourages viewers to share their own best business investments, and closes with an invitation to comment.

Hey, great people. Have you ever heard the expression you have to spend money to make money? You have? Yeah. It's a cliché that's been overused by people who want you to buy their program, the latest and greatest thing. However, in order for us to grow, we do have to invest in ourselves. I am a firm believer of professional and personal development, so I don't know if you've been burned like I've been burned before about something that was supposed to take me to the next level. But here's the thing. It's still going to take money for you to get to that next level of some sort, whether it's a mentor, whether it's a coach. There were 3 things that helped my business continue to grow that I had to invest in. Number 1 was creating and recreating my website. You see, my website is part of the brand. It represents me when I'm not personally talking to my potential clients. And so I had to have a dope website, not an amateur website, a dope The second thing I did to invest in me was attend personal and professional development conferences to refuel, refresh, revive, refocus on my purpose. And so I attended the NSA conference, the National Speakers Association conference, where I was surrounded by nothing but amazing people, amazing speakers who poured into me and I poured into them. Yeah, it's a great group. I also went to the Presence Conference, which is a speech spiritually focused. And again, it just did nothing but refresh, refocus, and continue to revive my purpose. Another investment I did was I invested in a social media package. And then this package, it gives me 2 years worth of prompts. So every day I don't have to get up and think about what should I post. Even this, this video here, it's a prompt to get me to think about how can I engage with my audience, and continue to ignite, inspire, and empower people. So it was a game changer when I made this investment. So if you're a business owner, tell me in the chat, what's the best investment you've ever made in your business that continues to make it excel? See you in the comments. Peace.
