How He Made Over $100,000 in 4 Months! | Khari Harper

This is a first-person account (Khari/Kyrie Harper) describing the launch and rapid growth of a remote cleaning business and a parallel coaching program (Modern Maids). Harper explains his marketing background, short corporate stint, and decision process for starting a remote cleaning company; he details lead-gen and advertising tactics—notably Google Local Service Ads and heavy use of Seamless AI for property-manager outreach—and gives a strong testimonial for Seamless. He reports early traction (about 5–6 months in), coaching growth (60+ new students), outbound booking rates (roughly 16 appointment/quote requests per day total), and an internal scale target (~$150k/month in DFW).

My name is Kyrie Harper. I own a cleaning business and I'm also a coach to show other people how to create their own remote cleaning businesses. I'm from Dallas, Texas. Well, Fort Worth mainly. And yeah, I was just, I just, I was ready to make a change in my life, you know, I wanted more freedom. So that's why I started the cleaning space. I come from a marketing background. I own a marketing company in the past. I did that for about two years. And I was just really at a point in my life where I closed the company down, gained a ton of skills. The company was successful, successful. Everything was great, but I was just burnt out from it. So I go into corporate. I worked in corporate for like a whopping six months of my life. I probably won't do that again. It was a, it was a cool experience, you know, for everyone that does it. I congrat, congratulate you guys. But I was sitting there thinking like, all right, I know what talents I have. I know how to run ads, I know how to build automations, I know how to do everything, you know, and I've already had a successful business. So I was like, it's not like a confidence thing, like if I'm gonna do it again. So I was like, what's the business? I could really just utilize all these skills and it'll be like a cheat code. So I was like, it was drop shipping. I was gonna do a skincare brand. I was like, no, I don't want to do that. I even, I was building everything out for it and everything. And then like two weeks and I was like, yo, we're just gonna throw this away. And I remember I bought this course like two years ago for like $70. It was on for a remote cleaning business. It was a terrible course. Like, it was awful. But I got the concept and I was like, you know what? That's what I'm gonna do. So I started watching videos on YouTube about it. Like cleaning companies, paying for consultations, all of that stuff. And I was like, yeah, if I do this business, it's gonna be like slam dunking on toddlers. So that's what I did. And I got into it. We just, we took off. As of today, we're about five and a half months in six months, something like that. It's actually, it's two things. It's, it was the advertising channels that we do. So we use a lot of Google local service ads for advertising. But ironically enough, Seamless came into play. I actually didn't think I needed Seamless I really didn't. But Seamless was like. I was like, hey, I want to start working with property managers. Because property managers, they'll always need me, no matter what type of economy it is. They're not. Property managers are not going to clean the buildings themselves. That's actually how I started getting my first customers in the cleaning business was through Seamless because I was just downloading massive lists of property managers doing outreach to them. Data on Seamless, like Shameless Plug, you don't want a Seamless podcast, but the data on Seamless is the best data you will ever get, ever, hands down. I've done use them all, seen them all, lead iq, zoom info, been there, done that. Seamless makes everything simple and it's user friendly. That's what I love about it the most. It was very user friendly. And just so we would use Seamless to reach out to property managers. I don't know exactly how much we made from Seamless. I didn't track it like that. But I know that whenever I do need to do any sort of outreach organically, Seamless is that go to platform. So I know that was a lot of. They didn't pay me to say this, I swear. It's just I truly feel very strongly about Seamless AI. I do think it's one of the few products out there that says that does exactly what it says it does. So it's actually, it's weird now. So we, since we have our coaching group, the Modern Maids, we have over 60 new people creating remote cleaning businesses. So I'm really stuck right now saying, should I open up in these different areas a cleaning business or should I open up another remote company and partner with my students? It's kind of why we created it as well, because we wanted to be able to expand without doing all of the legwork and still provide opportunity to others. But expansion. We were supposed to open up in New Jersey, but now we're training a virtual assistant because we're like, you know what, let's just scale up to, you know, maybe like 150k a month in the cleaning business in DFW. And then if you want to open up somewhere, why not? Because it's the same process. You know, there's no difference. When you have a remote cleaning company, everything is the same thing. It's just a different location at that point. It actually is. We're utilizing it now. What I've done with Seamless is I've created. I don't know if I've actually done it. No I did, I did do it. I've created list of my ICP of who I want in the coaching program. And what we're going to use Seamless for is to create lookalike audiences in Facebook and TikTok ads. I use Seamless before I use Google local service ads. Yeah. So Seamless was my first lead generation resource and it probably will continue to be my resource because I'm going to be using other businesses, you know, opening other businesses and all that. And it's just once again, it's hard to find accurate data like Seamless gives you. Like, even if everything could be wrong, the LinkedIn profile alone is, is more than enough. You know, the emails work just fine. Phone numbers, we've never had a problem. Like we were booking with Seamless when we first started and we had our VAs doing outbound dials. We were booking eight. We call appointment quote requests a day also eight between both. I mean, so 16 a day was like a average number where we were just sending out like, hey, blah, blah, blah, this is Jen from Legacy Maids. This is what we do. Yeah, send me an appointment request. And we're just sending them out consistently, you know, getting our name out there. And even if like it was a volume game at that point because, you know, our pricing, we do charge premium pricing. But I also think that helped us establish our company because people started recognizing the name. So like say property managers started going on Google to look us up. They're like, wait, these people also just called me, you know, X amount of minutes ago too. Honestly, it's just, you guys just keep doing what you're doing. You're delivering a great product. I think more people do need to learn about Seamless and how it works, especially small business owners. Maybe not in my space, they wouldn't need to do it as much. But I think that, no, I know that in my other marketing company, in my, my marketing company that I own, I did what I wish I knew about Seamless because I was just buying so much bad data consistently, you know, and it just came down to a point where it's just like you just want to give up. You're just like, it's, it's. Then these other companies, the entry level for these other companies are just absurd. So I think Seamless is great for the small business owner. And even the, you know, the, I'll even say like the Fortune 500 companies, anybody could use it. But if more small business owners used it, I do believe they would have success a lot faster. Good job to everybody. Over there. And one everybody at Seamless, by the way, shout out for all the support that everyone in Seamless gives. Because you guys have been like, like, really encouraging me to, like, continue posting more. Like, there's so much more, like, when I get back from Disney that I'm going to be posting about in the cleaning business, especially as we expand, because it's just cool to see the love you guys been giving. From literally day one, it's been nothing but Seamless support.
