In this motivational monologue, the speaker warns against accepting advice from individuals whose lives you do not wish to emulate, especially during low points when emotional vulnerability makes external opinions feel comforting. He explains that following such misaligned guidance often creates delayed pain, compounding the original struggle. To navigate hardship, he recommends turning to prayer, reading the Bible, and even consulting ChatGPT for scriptural insight, while emphasizing the importance of sitting with the discomfort to allow time and silence to bring clarity. The core message is that personal decisions should be guided by inner reflection and spiritual resources rather than the opinions of others whose life paths differ from yours.

You gotta stop letting people trick you out of your spot, because when you're in like a really low level in your life, that's when all the friends and family have opinions. And it's gonna be really hard to not, not to listen to their opinions, especially at that low point in your life, because you feel like they are closest. They're the closest thing to normality that you may have. But understand this, because this has happened to me so many times. When you come out of that emotional state, in that low date, you're still going to have to deal with the backlash of the advice that you took from somebody who doesn't even live the life that you want to live. So it's almost like you're sacrificing one pain with another, but the pain is more so delayed rather than instant. And in your mind, you're just trying to solve for the pain you have now. But sometimes solving for the pain that you have now is just sitting with it versus looking for the dopamine hits. That's why when I'm in a, in a situation where things are hurting and I'm seeking advice, I just pray. I pray, I read the Bible. I'm like, what does the Bible say about it? It doesn't really take the pain away. I'm a firm believer that time heals all, but at the end of the day, I don't want to deal with double the problems. Now I'm dealing with my pain and some pain that the wrong person gave me advice about. And now I gotta look at that person crazy because I'm in the back of my mind, no matter what, I don't want to blame them, but in the back of my mind I'm like, bro, why did I listen to you? I don't even want to live like you. So I've just learned, hey, when things are going rough, look at the Bible. Even hit ChatGPT, ask for a verse like, what does the Bible say about this? But do not listen to other people. Because at the end of the day, only you know what's going to be best for you. And if you don't know what's best for you, and I'm talking about 100%, you don't know the solution to this problem. The best solution will just be to sit with it until you have gained clarity. Nothing more, nothing less. Some problems are just solved in silence and sitting with it, and then you will get the answer on how to solve it. But not everything can be fixed instantly. Some things just need time. All right, let's get to it.
