Create an Adobe Illustrator flower with me. Use the Star Shape Tool and set points to 10. Then select, hold Option key, and drag to duplicate. Shrink the second star to a smaller size, then drag it to the center of the bigger star. Select both stars. Go all the way down to Blend, and then select Blend Options and set it to Specified Steps 60. Click OK. Click on the smaller star and the bigger star to blend. Afterwards, go to Effect, all the way down to Distort and Transform, then click on Tweak. Set horizontal and vertical to 10%. And now you're left with this organic-looking flower. I like my flowers a little darker, so I set opacity to 100%. And now you're left with chrysanthemums. Here's a little run-through of everything I just did, and you can pause and see which steps I took. This is what I ended up creating.
