Hello. Growing up, I've always had a strong desire to achieve the goals I set for myself. Through many learning experiences, both wins and failures, I discovered that taking small, consistent steps is far more effective and encouraging than trying to make giant leaps forward. Today, I want to share some tips on how to manifest your goals. Using my journey of getting into my dream school as an example. Step 1, plan. Having a clear and detailed goal makes pursuing it so much easier. Think of it like building a house. When you have a blueprint, the construction process becomes much more straightforward. For me, attending the University of Washington in Seattle was my dream. However, with a below-average SAT score, I initially doubted whether they'd accept me. Still, I refused to let that score define my capabilities. Instead, I focused on what I could improve, which was working hard on my personal essay and reaching out to staff members to better understand what they were looking for in a successful applicant. This leads us to the next step. Step 2, envision and act. I wrote down my goal in clear detail. Quote, I am a matriculated student at the University of Washington in Seattle, class of 2024, end quote. I carried this note in my wallet starting in 8th grade, using it as a daily reminder of what I was working toward. I even wrote my wish on a large sky lantern. During this time, I toured the campus, To immerse myself in the idea of belonging there. Visualizing myself walking those halls kept me motivated and focused. Step 3: Stay present. Manifesting your goals is about balancing your aspirations with the present moment. It's easy to get lost in imagining the future, but what matters most is taking small steps every single day. For me, this meant prioritizing self-improvement, staying consistent with my schoolwork, and seeking feedback whenever possible— good and bad. Step 4: Love yourself. The journey to achieving your goals isn't just about the destination; it's also about the person you become along the way. Learning to love and believe in yourself is a powerful step in manifesting your dreams. When you nurture self-love, you naturally attract the confidence and resilience needed to succeed. The positive energy you radiate in the universe will draw your goals toward you. As I discovered, loving yourself also helps you build meaningful connections with others. Through kindness and vulnerability, I received invaluable support from my friend and mentor, Jeff. As well as from teachers and family who encouraged me to keep going, and my friends. At first, I doubted the concept of manifestation, but I eventually realized how powerful the mind truly is. Every reality begins in your mind. It's the foundation of your life. Visualize and achieve. I hope with what I'm saying you guys can understand and conceptualize what you want and what your goals are and work towards them. And best of luck!
