Hello. I have many strong people in my life, and the one thing they all have in common is the ability to do many things on their own. I define strength by capability, and it doesn't necessarily mean doing everything alone, but having the ability to do things and carry yourself when needed. There is a certain freedom that comes with knowing you are capable. There is no need to fear doing things alone when love and kindness become choices rather than necessities. And it's okay to depend on others, but learning how to do things for yourself builds confidence, independence, and resilience. One day, if you ever have To stand on your own, you'll know you can survive not just because someone was there to help you, but because you learned how to help yourself too. And there's even research behind this. A study published in the National Library of Medicine found that healthy independence is connected to higher self-esteem and emotional well-being. The study also explains that true independence is not isolation. It's the ability to take responsibility for yourself while still maintaining healthy relationships with others. My parents always tell me that being able to do things, whether it's washing the dishes or cleaning the garage, these chores, it's a blessing in disguise because you are building skills and you're not just completing things just A lot of the confidence I get comes from being willing to try, to learn, and just repeating something until it becomes natural. Every small responsibility you take on, it teaches you to take care of yourself and your environment, and in the later years, those tiny habits eventually become confidence. A meaningful life is often built this way, through repeated tasks and acts of responsibility that slowly shape who you become. And from what I've gathered, strength is not never needing people. Strength is knowing you can carry yourself through life while still allowing yourself to love and connect with the people around you. And If you ever find yourself needing support, there will always be people nearby who are willing to help carry you too.
