In this 15‑minute first‑person video, Laurence Edwards tours the Telford International Centre’s annual Beekeeping Show, claiming it to be the best beekeeping exhibition in the UK. He systematically visits every stall, naming each exhibitor and describing their key products or services. The walkthrough highlights a wide range of beekeeping supplies – from traditional hives and bee suits to novel technologies such as a concrete‑cast hive, a bee‑vac, and Thermomite’s power‑free varroa thermotherapy. Edwards repeatedly emphasizes the presence of major European manufacturers (e.g., Carl Frits, Suyenti, Thomas Apiculture) as a unique differentiator for the show. He also points out educational resources (BeeCraft magazine, Beesplus.org), food and coffee areas, and a seminar schedule featuring notable speakers like Mariette Duncan and Lawrence Edwards himself. Throughout, he injects personal endorsements (e.g., his favourite BB Wear Ultra suit) and enthusiastic commentary, creating a promotional yet informative preview of the event for beekeepers and prospective attendees.

Right, it's half past 4 on the 24th of February. I'm in the Telford International Centre inside the beekeeping show. I'm going to go around and I'm going to show you every single stall and tell you why it's by far and away the best beekeeping show in the UK. Right, first up we've got the Abello and Lysons store, and as you can see, absolutely loads of stuff going on here, still unpacking loads of boxes. Let's have a walk around here, let's make sure we don't miss anybody out at all. We're going to get every single vendor in here, so I will double back on myself. So here we go, Local Bee Farm. Not sure what they're going to bring here. goldendrops.co.uk. Honey, pollen, propolis, bee bread, beeswax candles, visiting and courses. Very nice. Next up we've got Blarange Mountain Bees. Really nice looking beehives there. Can't wait to meet them tomorrow. And here we go into the serious stuff now. So we've got the Stone Apiary. Hempcrete beehives, concrete beehives, perlite beehives, you name it, he's cast it in concrete. Really, really good-looking stall. Now here's something I've never ever seen before. This is a bee vac. Really cool-looking design. Very, very interested to see what these guys are up to tomorrow. A few people setting up over there. Rawlings. I actually just bought a press from them. And then we're into the modern beekeeping store. We gave you a real close look inside all of these here. Founding member of the Beekeeping Show is the owner Paul Beardmore. Got some quality beehives on display. And then we've got Vita Bee Health. They are at every single store I go to— Apistan, Apiguard, Bee Gym. And then we're on to BJ Sheriff, one of the best beekeeping suit providers there are in the UK. Lots of people swear by these bee suits, top quality. Say they've got the best visor in the business. Really liking the look of the colour on some of those as well. Love to have a little try of some of these. And then they are next to BS Honeybees. You know me, I love my BS Honeybees 2-in-1 poly nuc. If you're going to get one, get it with a metal divider. They really are some of the best in the business. And then we're on to BB Wear suits. You can see I've got my number one favourite bee suit there that I wear every single day. That is the BB Wear Ultra suit. Wouldn't be anywhere without that one. Damien making loads of noise in the corner, we'll go away from him. Then we're on to National Bee Supplies sterilized wax foundation. You can see these are just beautiful beehives, and one of the things that I just loved when I was chatting to these guys earlier is they've branched out into lots of different things made using the offcuts. Love that, no waste at all, using every last bit of cedar that they've got to create some of these really unique pieces. Right, doubling back on myself a bit, we've got Paynes again now. They're really stacking things up high. We've got Ambrosia next to them. Everyone would have tried some of their syrups and fondants at some point. BeeCraft magazine— I don't think anybody should be without a BeeCraft magazine, whether it's a physical copy or the digital copy. Love sitting down and reading that. Northern Bee Books are here as well. The Quality Quarterly with quarterly quality— need I say any more? And then we've got the Queen Bee, Mariette Duncan. Speaker, author, and beekeeper. My daughter would absolutely love this with all the coloring in. Really excited to see what's gonna go on there. Got a Plantlife stand, Busy Bees Cosmetics, some really nice looking bits there. Probably gonna take some of those home for my wife. She will love those. Right, so this one I'm really, really interested in. Thermomite, the world's first and only power-free thermotherapy treatment for varroa. Nature, not chemicals. Cannot wait to see what that is all about. Beesplus.org, the education pathway for budding beekeepers and bee farmers. Loads of cool stuff going on there. Now these guys know how to make a stand. Look at those cool colours, those big stacks. They are properly old beehives. Wainwright's Bee Farm, one of the biggest names in the business. I absolutely love what they've done here. Love the colour scheme. Love the fact that they're here selling their honey. I bet you there's not gonna be a single jar left. Also a shout out to them for coining the phrase crunchy heather honey. Now that is just clever. Heather honey, for anyone who doesn't know, when it goes and sets, it goes crunchy, which is generally undesirable. They have turned that round and they have turned it into a very good marketing ploy. Congratulations. I wish I'd thought of that. Bee Farmers Association, little chat room for them. How cool is that? You've got a little VIP section for the bee farmers. I'll see if I can get in there at some point. Then we've got some food areas over there. Can't wait to get a coffee and get some food. So then we're back into the Thorn shop again, really taking up the whole east side over here. Just going to double down on that foundation. Look at all that foundation they've got. Right, so we've got Beekeeping Lion, Laphed, some feed. I think this is Thomas Apiculture stuff as well. Suyentia here, they've got their stand. Some of the best honey extraction in the business. Can't wait to see some of that later on. Now this for me is the biggest benefit of this beekeeping show here. You've got the European manufacturers, they're back on board. Carl Frits, Suyenti, Thomas Apiculture, they're all here and they're all bringing all of their equipment. No other show's got that in the UK at the moment. It really does set it apart. And you know Suyenti, they have got some superb bits of machinery. I am going to have a proper look around these later. Right, so we've got a little seminar area there. Couldn't help but take a look at who's on the bill. Got Bee Bay, Marriott Duncan, Thermomite, Bibber, Andermatt, Bee Plus, National Honey Show, Instant Vap, Vitopharma, Lyson, and oh, Lawrence Edwards, Griffreys, and Richard Knoll. Not to be missed. Another little central area there where you can get yourself a nice coffee and a bun or something like that. Border Honey, top quality queens. BelgaSuc feed. Everyone's had a go on the BelgaSuc feed, really good. And then who can forget Becky's Bees, last but not least, top quality bee farming company.
