In this Bite Size Bees segment, Laurence Edwards of Black Mountain Honey announces a partnership with Abello to give away a 12‑frame Abello Poly National hive (valued at £145‑£175). Participants must film themselves capturing a bee swarm (or related methods such as trap‑outs, cut‑outs, bait boxes) in a 1‑2 minute video, clearly stating “This swarm is for Abello” on camera. Videos are submitted to Edwards, who will edit them into a compilation; Abello will then select a winner around September after the swarming season ends. There are no restrictions on the type of swarm capture, and entrants may submit unlimited, distinct entries. Safety and liability rest with the participants. The video also includes standard channel calls‑to‑action (subscribe, bell).

Hi, I'm Lawrence Edwards from Black Mountain Honey. Welcome to another episode of No Nonsense Beekeeping and a super quick Bite Size Bees. So you saw the Abello 12-frame Poly National on our premiere last weekend, and guess what? We've teamed up with Abello and we're going to give one of these hives away for free. Now we're going to change it up a little bit this time, so you're not liking, you're not commenting, but obviously feel free to like and comment the video. What you're going to have to do to win this poly national hive is you're going to have to catch a swarm. So what I want to see is I want to see you go out, catch a swarm. You need to video it, keep it nice and short. What I'm going to do is I'm going to condense all of those videos down, so you're going to get a chance to be on No Nonsense Beekeeping on Black Mountain Honey, and we're going to do a video, and Abello are going to choose their winner. All you have to do in the video, just to make sure you're not using any old footage. Is say to the camera, "This swarm is for Abello," and that's it. They're the only rules. Go out, capture a swarm. This swarm is for Abello. Send me a video between like maybe one or two minutes long. I'll edit it down. I'll condense them all into a nice long video so you'll be able to see every single entry into the competition. And then Abello are going to choose a winner. So make it a good video, and you could win this poly national hive worth £145. Now you might say, are there any other rules? No, there's no rules. So when I say swarm, you can do a video for a trap out, you can do a video for a cut out, you can do swarms, you can do bait boxes. You do whatever it takes to give me the best possible 1 or 2 minute video that you can. So it doesn't need to be a swarm that's bundled up on a hedge. It can be any of those things. All you need to make sure you do though is say this swarm is for Abello in the video. So this competition is going to run all the way throughout the summer. We're going to choose the winner around September time once all of the chances of swarming are pretty much over, although I have had swarms in September. So don't feel the rush to send me the first video of a swarm that you get. We're not going to choose a winner until September. You can enter more than once. If you've got numerous swarm videos, feel free to send them through. You can have unlimited entries into this competition as long as they're completely different swarms. And you say the phrase, this swarm is for a bellow. I hope you think that's going to be a good bit of fun. I cannot wait to see all you guys on camera. I do it every week, and now it's your turn to get on the camera and show me your beekeeping skills and your swarm capture skills. So good luck with your videos. Make sure you stay safe. The liability sits with you. As always, please hit the subscribe button. Please hit the bell so you're notified of every video, and I'll see you next time.
