Laurence Edwards received a queen bee with a badly applied paint mark that made her unsellable. The worker bees accepted her anyway, and she's now laying eggs successfully in a nucleus colony.

One of the queens sent to us last week had a very bodged paint job. Obviously can't send that one out to customers, but it's gone into a nuc. She's laying eggs well, the bees have accepted her, but yeah, that is a pretty shocking paint job.
