Some of the colonies at this time of year are absolute monsters. This one here is just full, all of those 4 boxes above the queen excluder full to the brim with honey. The bees are so busy, they're making use of the late summer sunshine, going out on the rosebay willowherb and the bramble, anything they can get their hands on, and they are creating a bounty of honey for me to take away.
