If you're seeing entrances like this and you're thinking your bees are swarming or it's robbing behavior, this is a perfectly normal entrance. But what I didn't tell you in the last video is what exactly is going on. So we've got normal bee activity here, but it's heightened at this time of the day, around 1 PM, 2 PM. The sun comes out, it's nice and warm, and all of the young bees in this colony that have never taken their first flight go out this time of the day, orientation flights, and it results with the entrances looking like this. No swarming, no robbing, everything is okay here, just lots and lots of busy bees.
