When people say to me, what's the number one thing that you look for in a bee, I think they're always surprised that I say calmness over everything. I don't want to eke as much honey as possible. I want my bees to be a pleasure, and I want to be able to open them up, talk to them a little bit like this, and just have fun with my beekeeping.
