Himalayan balsam's coming into flower. This is one of the main reasons that we're at this apiary here, and the colonies seem to be doing quite well without it. This will flower now up until the first frost, so all the way through until October, November, and it continues to yield as long as it's warm up until then. The bees and all pollinators love this, even though it does cause a bit of damage. It's here, it's here to stay, and we put our apiaries up near it just because the bees love it so much and it produces a really nice, light, mild honey.
