Laurence Edwards opens his Flow Hive and finds a European hornet's nest tucked inside, complete with larvae visible and moving. He captures the close-up footage and admits the sight is both gross and fascinating, showing what beekeepers sometimes discover in their hives.
Just gone into my fake Flow Hive, and what is that peeking down under the crown board hole? Let's take a look. We have either a wasp's nest, or I'm going to go ahead and say that is a European hornet's nest. That is cool. Let's get a close-up. Little bit of a close-up for you there. Look at those larvae going around. It is a little bit gross, isn't it? But I have to say, I think it's cool.
