In this YouTube short, Laurence Edwards recounts his beekeeping experience where he initially worked with a local "mongrel" bee stock that he had been told was the best. While filming in his apiary, he suffered a severe sting to the face, describing the incident as horrific. Reflecting on the episode, he explains that he later switched to better‑quality bee genetics, specifically mentioning his preference for Buckfast bees and any decent genetic lines, to improve safety and hive performance.
