Hi, I'm Laurence Edwards from Black Mountain Honey and welcome to my YouTube channel. Are you interested in beekeeping? Are you a beginner who's already placed a deposit for a nuc for the upcoming season, or are you a seasoned beekeeper looking for a specific tutorial on a piece of machinery? Or are you just interested in how we eliminate single-use plastics, how we strive towards zero-carbon beekeeping, or how we improve a wide range of habitats for pollinators across North Wales? If so, then why not follow my life as a commercial bee farmer and join us on the journey. We will aim to add at least one video per week, and our videos could include any of the following topics: beekeeping tutorials for all aspects of beekeeping, ranging from how to make splits for increase, queen rearing, disease recognition, winter feeding, overwintering nucs, and much, much more. Instructional videos for beekeeping products, ranging from high-end complex honey extraction machinery to oxalic sublimation products. I work to improve biodiversity and pollinator habitats across North Wales, Targeted planting schemes and campaigns to improve habitats for all pollinator species, not just honeybees. Our focus and approach to the elimination of single-use plastics. We have been awarded the status of Plastic Reduction Champions in our hometown of Mould. Our social media platforms, website challenges and competitions. Product reviews from manufacturers such as Lyson, Abello, Squiente, Maysmoor, and Thorns. We review everything from frames to hives to extractors. Our products: runny honey, soft-set honey, nucleus colonies, overwintered colonies, and UK mated queens.
