A beekeeper searches a nucleus hive for a mated queen, finding drawn comb and eggs but no sign of her at first. After checking multiple frames and spotting heavy bee fanning, they finally discover an F1 Buckfast queen hiding beneath a frame.

Let's see if we've got a mated queen inside this nuc. So still plenty of bees inside. Check the cell, we can see that the queen has emerged. So let's see if we can find her. This is my lucky frame at the moment, the middle one. So you can see signs that the bees have drawn it out. I can even see an egg down there. No signs of the queen just yet though. On the other side, it's not fully drawn out, but I can see a couple of eggs tucked away. I'm gonna take out the second frame, see if we can see that queen. So I can see the eggs. I've still not found the queen though. Bees are fanning super hard. They do not like the fact that this frame is out. All of the bees fanning that entrance as well. Finally managed to track her down. There we go, one F1 Buckfast queen hiding underneath there. Thought I was going a bit crazy there because I could not find her.
