Laurence Edwards shows a 3D-printed spacer bar from subscriber John that hangs National frames inside a Langstroth nuc. The spacer flips onto the top bar to hold frames at exact spacing without squashing bees, replacing earlier methods that used screws or zip-ties.

Last week I showed you how to hang a National frame in a Langstroth nuc using a couple of screws. I'm back with a far better solution. Now some people said put the screw in there to hang it on, some people said zip tie this to a Langstroth top bar and then you can hang it in, but one of my channel subscribers has come up with by far and away the neatest solution and I'm going to show you that today. The solution that John came up with is a 3D printed spacer bar. Absolutely ingenious. So all you do with this spacer bar is you turn it around upside down like that You pop it in between. It's designed for the Langstroth top bar, so you make sure you're not squishing any bees. And then it's as simple as this. You take your national frames, place them in. The spacing is perfect, and I think you'll agree that is a far neater solution.
