This Literally Blew Me Away

Laurence Edwards shows how to assemble a flat-pack cardboard honeycomb container with a plastic window, fill it with honey, and sell it. He recommends doing this in early June during the summer harvest so the honey doesn't harden, and says the finished product looks professional enough for premium gifts.

So the next part of the process is to get your honeycomb into a beautiful container like this, ready for sale. In this video, I'm going to show you just how easy this presentation is. So as with all these other videos, this video is sponsored by Thorn Beekeeping. They gave me this for free, and I have to say, I am amazed at how simple and how neat and how professional this product looks. So what you're seeing here is a flat pack section honeycomb container. It's made out of cardboard, got a honeycomb design, and then it's got an open transparent plastic section, which means that you can see Inside and take a look at that honey. In terms of putting it together, couldn't be simpler. Really straightforward design. You're just going to fold everything over like that, same on the other side, and there we go. That's the section honey complete. Let's get some honey inside this one now. So here's my section honey, and I have to say, like, this is the first one that I managed to get capped, and I really wanted to do this video just to give people the opportunity in 2022 to go out, buy these sections, and actually have a go. It actually works a lot better with your summer harvest, and you eliminate the risk of it setting hard with, say, an oil seed rape honey. So first week of June at the moment, really good time to be doing this. The video is sponsored by Thorn Beekeeping. You can get all of these sections and the products and the ancillaries all from Thorn, and they do them for a really good price. So my section honey is complete. I'm just going to take my container now, and as you can see, perfectly slots in like that, really nice and easy. And that's it, it's complete. We've got section honey from our own bees on a wooden section English rack in a really nicely presented comb section container. I am so happy with these. These would make the absolute best present in the world, and I know if you got these into the shops, they would fly off the shelf as well.
