Laurence Edwards shows how to make a portable lid dispenser from a cut honey bucket and grip pads. It eliminates the need to lean over repeatedly during jarring, prevents dropped lids from jamming the turntable, and costs almost nothing to build.
A super simple hack that will save your back. Normally when the jar machine's going, you have to lean over for the lid each and every time, or you can dump them in the middle of the turntable, but it can cause it to jam. I've simply taken a honey bucket, cut it in half, place some pads underneath to give it some grip, place some lids inside of it, and then you have a ready-made, good-to-go lid dispenser that you can use to jar up all of your honey.
