Welcome to today's Q and A session for Mindtracks. This is Wendy Greer. I'm one of the coaches here at Learning Strategies for Rose, Learning Strategies products and the Mind Tracks. And today I wanted to lead in by a little discussion of the power of being passionate about what you're trying to achieve. I've been coaching here for just over 20 years this month, and a lot of the, the, the calls and the emails I get are about goals that aren't coming to fr. And I started having people send me their goals because I started being curious about what was going on. And I was really surprised when I first started working here, how many people had goals, were very academic and sort of. They didn't tell me who they were. They didn't have any vibrance to them. They didn't tell me what they were really looking for. It was just, I want $100,000 in the bank. Well, what does that $100,000 in the bank mean? You know, how does that look in your life? How does that express? Why does that enable you to do and be so it was. It's a. It's a sense of. A lot of the goals were so generic. It could have been anybody walking down the street. I'd like money in the bank. I'd like to have a nice house. I'd like to have a good relationship. Well, you know, everybody would like that. But what. What do you specifically want? Because, you know, the universe is standing there waiting to give you what you want, but you've got to tune into what that looks like, feels like, what it would be like to have it. And so that's where passion comes in. Because what you're passionate about, what. What you're really connected to is probably what you're here to do. That's why you're here. And so that in and of itself is an incredibly empowering thing to be doing.
What you would gladly do for nothing but being paid for it. That kind of thing where you have a job that you love so much that even if you weren't being paid, you would enjoy it. So one of the greatest summaries I've heard of this was when the Wright brothers were out at Kitty Hawk trying to get their plane off the ground, and they finally had. I can't remember how many seconds it was, but they left the ground. And a reporter apparently asked, I think it was Wilbur, how much trepidation, how much fear was there every day when you got up that you might crash, you might end up, you know, you might end up in a hitting a rock. And he says, actually, we could hardly wait to get up in the morning. It was so exciting. And that's what you want. You want that kind of zing in your goal. You want to really connect with it and have an emotional connection so that you're really invested in it. And it's really clear what, where you're wanting to end up and what that would mean to you, what that's like in your life, what that looks like, what that feels like. I wanted to share a few parallel that I always recommend for this, this issue, but I'd also like to, to share a couple of tools that are really pragmatic, they're fun to do, and I just would like to share those because they'll get you started and then take what you learn into your paralyminals. One of them is if you won the lottery and it was an incredible amount of money and you had done all the traveling you want to do, all the cruises you had been around the world, you had been to every opera you wanted to see, in every great opera house you'd seen every rock concert you want to see. You had every fancy car you could ever want. If you had just, just done all the things that you would always do. You gone on safari, you've. You've traveled Europe for the summer. When that was all said and done, what would you do with the rest of your life? Now, that one is really fun because not only are you tuning into what, what you're here to do and what you're passionate about and what you're. What your service would be to the world and to humanity, but you're also doing your bucket list of what you want to do before you, before you shuffle off the mortal coil. So sort of a fun one to do. Lisa Nichols has a rocking chair test. When you sit in your rocking chair, you're 90 years old, you're sitting on your front porch. What do you want to be saying to your grandkids, your great grandkids, to the people that are coming after you and to your cronies, to the people that are still there? What do you want to say you did? What do you want? What are you going to be proudest of? What are you going to feel what really good about having, having done? And akin to that is the legacy goal that's in our clear mind, bright future course. And that's what do you want to leave behind? You know, what do you. What do you want to, to be said about you at your celebration of Life, you know what, what do you want to have expressed? What do you want to have created in form that wasn't here before? You know what, what kind of beauty do you want to leave behind? So those three, the rocking chair test, the legacy, and then that lottery.
If you had won the lot.
What would. What would you do with the rest of your life? One, I think I'll do the par liminals next. The three that I love for this are success built to last. This is one of the more underutilized parallel we have. I think for some reason, people don't think to pick it up. We did this with Stuart Emory and his whole. The core of what he found, you know, working with people, interviewing people, coaching people that were really masters at whatever they did was that they had found what they were passionate about. And so because of that, it is success built to last because it just builds on itself and you become more and more enamored of what you're doing. You become more masterful, and sometimes it segues into something akin to what you originally started with. But still, success built to last is a really good one for doing that. I'm anticipating that one of the newer ones, Self Actualization, will do the same thing. Because self actualization is really about the. The subtitle there is Live each day as the best version of yourself. The best version of yourself is your unique gift. It's what you came here to do. It's your unique print on the world. You're the unique snowflake that you are. So I'm thinking self actualization would be good. And I like Creativity Supercharger. This one is really good for thinking outside the box. So Creativity Supercharger tends to, you know, open doors. You normally wouldn't look behind and sort of get in the sandbox and play a bit. And that can really open you up to new experiences and new ways of approaching, approaching things and really give you a joie de vivre that you may not have experienced for a while. So those are. Those are the ones I would specifically recommend around that topic. I love distillations of what I'm trying to say. And there's a saying by Deepak Chopra I wanted to. To share before I jump into the actual questions for today. He said, when you discover your essential nature and know who you really are, and that knowing itself is the ability to fulfill any dream you have, because you are the eternal possibility, the immeasurable potential of all that was, is, and will be. And that's what tuning into your passion does. The immeasurable potential of all that was, is, and will be for you. So I just. I think that's such a nice distillation. So we had quite a few questions. I'm going to start with the earliest one and work up. First one was, how do you access the live coaching? I'm. There's two ways to interpret this, so I'm going to answer both. If you're looking, if you have something very personal that you don't want to share or you just want to connect with a coach, you could use coachindtraxmindtrx.com and we monitor that. And those of us that answer that have a lot of experience with parallel. So we'd be thrilled to help you that way. The other way is if you're actually talking about this event, if you're on your homepage and you go down to events, you can register for the coaching. So it's scroll down and it's lower on your page when you access line track. So I'm. I'm not sure which question that was, but I've answered both. So there we go. Question are, other than the intuition amplifier, are there any other parallel that would help with getting communication from the other side? And then in parentheses, yes, I'm referring to mediumship. Intuition amplifier is a great one to start with. I would probably play with seeing the unseen, because again, that's connecting with what. What isn't necessarily visible with your physical eyes, but is there, regardless whether you believe it's there or not. Creativity Supercharger, which I just mentioned because it really helps you to think outside the box and pay attention to things that you may not be aware are happening because they're so peripheral, but they're actually out there and you're just not tuning in. One of the reasons I bring that up is we have a psychic in town named Echo Bodine. And I got a chance to do some classes with her. And one of the things I noticed about Echo is she's very astute at constantly tuning in to what's going on around her and seeing if there's something there that she should be recognizing. And I sort of laughed when I first started working with her because she, she actually, she would sometimes go shopping on a day where she knew it was going to be busy. So she tuned into her inner knowing and tune into when she should go to the grocery store and there wouldn't be a line. And I sort of laughed. But, you know, that's a good way to build up your. Your intuitive mechanisms. And then in turn Connect with, with mediumship. And active listening would support that too. Even though active listen, working with other people, and I'm anticipating a lot of parents will do really well with active listening. Active listening would be listening to messages that are coming in. Because one of the things I found when working with intuition is you have to have the silence. There has to be that listening component because you know, it will show up and show up and show up, but sometimes it doesn't knock very loudly. So active listening would be one. I would, I would consider adding miracle mindset, because miracle mindset, you're tuning into the fact there are miracles around you all the time. And again, you may not be able, you may not be cognizant of it, but when you have that mindset of looking for the miracles, I would, I would consider that dream play because that helps you access the wisdom that comes through at night. And sometimes I think we get messages from guides and angels at night. And if you are doubting your capacity for mediumship, belief, belief is an absolute workhorse because if you think you can or you think you can't, you are going to be right. So those are the ones. So seeing the unseen creativity supercharger, the miracle mindset, active listening, dream play, and belief, I know that's a lot, but there's a lot of ways to come at this. And that's one thing I love about parallel. There's so many perspectives and angles to come from that you really get a complete picture. And sometimes one will have a. Have a domino effect where you do that and all of a sudden everything else starts flowing. So that's where I would go with that. If I am listening to a parallel at bedtime three times per week, is it better to do a different parallel each time or. Or to do the same one each night until I feel like I've gotten the results I'm looking for. That's up to you. I tend to use one for two or three nights and then sort of assess where I'm at and see if I feel like I'm getting the results I want. And if I'm. If I feel like I'm partway there but I'm missing a component, I will look for what will support that component. We have some people that do a variety of paralympicals every night. That is a little discombobulating for me. But everybody's different. And so you can adapt your parallel listening. You know, experiment, use the same one for, for three or four nights, you know, journal, journal what you're doing. And I really Encourage that if you're going to use the sleep tracks journal because sometimes things will come through at night and you will not remember what they were in the morning. So one of the things that we did a dream questing course here and one of the things I got from that course was if you wake up and you know you had a profound dream, try and remember the position you're in when you woke up. You know where your, where your head was on the pillow and resume that physiological position. And often you'll catch a tendril, you'll be able to catch a piece of what was happening. And if you wake up during the night, jot down, you know, whatever was going through your mind because that in the morning will sometimes trip a connection to, you know, the other things that preceded and followed that. So I would really recommend that. And often during the day after a profound dream, things will percolate to the top. So catch them when they percolate up. So sorry for that somewhat amorphous answer, but paranormal work, because they're so organic, you know, you can, you can adapt them to what works for you. And so, you know, try the three a night, the three, three, three times per week. Sou however, if you feel like you're sort of on a plateau, you might try bringing in another one that's akin to what you're working on and just seeing where that goes for you. What is the best parallel to overcome mental blocks and negative self talk when trying to achieve a goal? Belief. As I mentioned, anytime you're doubting your self belief, personal genius is good because that's really tuning you into that inner genius that we all have that we just sort of got trained out of as finding treasure is very like belief in its, in its outcome. So finding treasure because you have treasures within you and we all have them, we just don't always remember where we've put them. And so finding treasure will help you to re access that and, and reconnect. And then if this is chronic, if you tend to have a lot of negative self talk and these mental blocks pop up all over the board, I would probably consider fresh start because that's a reminder that every second and every minute of every day is an opportunity to begin again. And new history generator and that that is the one where you've got the three paths. The past as it was the past as you would like it to be. The past with unexpected events. The fourth path you create yourself so you can take the learning you got from. You know, the thing to remember is every failure is actually just an experiment. It's a, it's another step in an experiment. And so you know, if, if that wasn't what you needed, then you know that one doesn't work and you move on to the next one. So you know this negative self talk that you're, you, you are paying attention to things that you notice didn't work and that's a plus because you know that didn't work. So then you can move on to the next, the next experiment to see, to see what might serve better. So but those are the ones I would probably start with. And the, the letting Go I would probably add on to that too because letting go is, is very good for welcoming what happened, recognizing the gifts, taking the gift forward and then let it. Letting the rest go. So the letting go Fresh Start and New history generator are very good tandem with each other.
I love this one. I have some urgency with regards to my goal of securing a position at the same or more salary. How do I use the parallel for achieving my goal by a certain time? You can make any parallel work that way by building in. It is December 31st and I open my bank statement and I have, I've managed to get $30,000 of savings or more in my bank account. So you, you've set a date that you would like it by. You're leaving an or more catch. That or more opens so many possibilities because you never know what the universe might have in store. We did a thing called superpowers. Super. You and I, for one. We set a goal and then we had 12 different masters in different topics address different issues throughout the year. And we were to write down our goal at the beginning of the year and then we were to undo it at the end of the event. My goal had been achieved, but my biggest goal that I was proudest of was something that wasn't even on my radar at the beginning of the year. So you know, this or something more. You never know what might be coming down the pipe. So add, Add, you know, and, and, and you know, if, if it feels too ambitious, then chunk the goal down a bit. Some people have these grandiose goals and they're going, yes, but that's never going to happen. So make an intermediary goal by October 31st. This is the circumstance. And by December 31st, this is the circumstance. This or more is in my life. So you're, you're leaving the door open. You're, you're creating the opportunity. And, and you re.
Nesbuts anything that says, yeah, but that that that's not going to happen. Take it to belief. Take it to belief because you know, you need those yes buts are the, are the, are the stumbling blocks, those things that are going to trip you up. So those yes buts are great indicators of what, what is.
Is setting up obstacles. We have a wonderful habit of doing that for ourselves. I guess we, we just all have these incredible opportunities to grow. So, and you look at it that way. It's an opportunity. It's an opportunity and there's a resource in there somewhere inside use. Deal with the possibility and, and that that is within you. So great questions. That's all I think I have to say for today. But I did find a really nice distillation of this topic, so I wanted to share this. It's from Joseph Campbell. Follow your bliss and the universe will open doors where there were only walls. So that's what we wish for you. Doors where there seem to be walls. Right now, they're there, you're just not seeing them. So para liminals will help you find those doors. So you take care. Keep using the Paralympicals we send you lots and lots of love from all of us here. You take care. Bye bye.
