Don't slam cable weights at the end of your set. It damages expensive equipment, creates a safety hazard, and annoys everyone around you. Lower the weight smoothly instead.

In today's training awareness, we're going to talk about why it's important to be aware of how we finish a cable exercise. Obviously, Josh is getting a monster pump after his big bench day, and I know he just can't wait to slam these cables so everyone looks at him. But that's exactly what we don't want to happen. One, it's obnoxious. Two, it's dangerous. And three, it's compromising the machine, and these are expensive machines that we could use a lot out of. And get a lot out of, and we want to keep them around for a long time. So replace and finish your cable workouts correctly. Don't slam the weight.
