In this interview, Chris Munsch introduces himself as the founder of Ampifire, a press‑release distribution service that focuses on helping small, local businesses increase their online visibility. He explains that Ampifire’s model places client releases on major news sites and platforms, which can double or even triple a business’s exposure and leads. Munsch emphasizes the company’s mission to demystify publicity for businesses that lack the resources of larger corporations, making media outreach simple and accessible. The conversation highlights the value Ampifire provides by turning complex PR processes into an easy‑to‑use service that drives growth for local enterprises.
So why don't you tell everyone a little bit about you and your company and what you do? Part of the reason we know each other is because you are amazing in publicity and getting the word out around the world, and I've actually used your services myself. And so I'd love the audience to know more about you.
Okay, so yeah, my name is Chris Munsch. I run a press release distribution company, and so we specialize in helping local businesses get more exposure online. And we've got many, many cases where we'll come in and double or triple a local business. So I love just helping small businesses just grow, right? Especially, you know, businesses that aren't big corporate entities that don't have the power and the resources to really push their brand. So just great small businesses out there that want to be seen and we help them grow.
And when you were here, there's a lot of those businesses were here, your ideal clients. And I think what you've done is demystified for them The whole process, because to many of them, they have no idea how to get started to get their word out in the news and share their story. And then you guys have made it so it's easy for anyone to jump on board.
Yeah, exactly. Exactly. And so, like, we're known as a press release company. And so lots of people think, well, press releases, you use that to go out and get a journalist, right, to cover your story. But journalists, they don't like press releases, right? Tell me about that. And so it's a weird thing for me to say, right, that journalists say, hey, press release. And so, well, what are you doing? And so what people use our platform for is they're putting out releases and it's going straight onto big-name sites and it's being seen and they're generating their customers, their traffic, their leads that way.
