Hey guys, welcome to day 3 of New York Fashion Week. It's electric in here. There are people of all ages participating in the fashion shows. The designers are walking the runway, and guess what? I'm gonna give you what the view is from the front row, 'cause I got front row access today, and there's nothing like it. So welcome to New York Fashion Week. You get front row access with me.
Here we go.
What was the number one reason why you wanted to be part of this event?
I chose to work at Fashion Week in New York here because most of my experience has been planning weddings, networking events, a few social events such as quinceañeras, Sweet 16s, things of that nature. And I've always been curious about Fashion Week, and as a very creative individual myself, I wanted to be part of the energy and learn what was involved with planning a fashion show. So I saw the post on Facebook in one of the event planner groups and thought to myself, wow, what a great opportunity this must be. So sure enough, I reached out and they offered me the opportunity, and here I am, and it's been wonderful.
I'm so glad you said yes. And yesterday you had an experience in registration, and what was that like for you?
Registration, like most events, it's very exciting, but it's extremely fast-paced. You always got to be on your feet, you always got to be thinking ahead, and I believe that it was a good experience, challenging nevertheless, but there was a lot of people that they rushed through the door all at the same time. You know, when the doors Yeah. Everyone was waiting to get in. Yes, because it's such an exciting event and everybody wants to be here. They don't want to miss one second of what's going on on stage. So they were very excited, a little bit anxious, but we made it through and we were able to accommodate everyone, and that's the most important thing.
We did it! We survived New York Fashion Week, and honestly, it was one of the best weeks of my entire life. Everyone that came with me had a blast. I got a lot of thank-yous. It was amazing. Our last designer we saw was Marco Marco, and I will tell you, there were a lot of sexy bodies on that runway, and they got a standing ovation and cheers from the crowd, and it was extraordinary. New York Fashion Week was a blast. Officially over, and we survived. So much fun.
