Exit The Matrix with Me Experiment: Guest: Reawakening Vision Beyond Sight
15 Apr 2026 · 52 min
Alina Selick teaches a training protocol using blindfolds and meditation to help children access what she calls extraocular vision, a subconscious visual ability. The step-by-step method moves from colors to shapes to letters to numbers, with reported outcomes including increased confidence, intuition, and faster learning. She frames it as heart-brain coherence rather than literal sight without eyes.

Welcome to Exit the Matrix Stories of Success with your host Jane Slack-Smith, where we celebrate the incredible journeys of individuals who've transcended their limitations and achieved extraordinary success.
Hello, it's Jane here, and I'm back. It's week 25 of this crazy Exit the Matrix book research experiment with me. And I'm going to do something completely different this week because I've gone down a little bit of a rabbit hole. I have found the incredible Alina Selick and I've convinced her to talk to us. So hello, Alina, how are you going?
Hello, thank you for having me.
Now I'm going to put some context around this because, you know, within this book writing kind of research, you know, I'm looking at, you know, how can we live our life of abundance in all aspects of life? You know, how can we have this heart-aligned living where, you know, everything is just, you know, bells and whistles basically? And, you know, I've interviewed so many people around, you know, their, um, their way of kind of coming to the realization things weren't right. I've interviewed a lot of people around this messy middle of, you know, why we are held back in the familiar and, you know, I've kind of, you know, looked at all of the, the kind of things that hold us back from claiming basically our sovereign self, what we want, how we want to live. And this is completely different because I was watching, I think it was Gaia or Superhuman Experience, and they started talking about mind vision. And what blew me around away about around what they were talking about was how children blindfolded could have essentially vision. And I'm watching this, these kids that have got blindfolds on that are, you know, talking about the color of things, the shape of things, they're moving around objects. And then I started researching it thinking, well, this is kind of interesting. And, and the research showed that they were more emotionally connected. There was you know, more cognitive, you know, more, you know, intellectually they were doing better at school, they had more self-confidence. I was like, in actual fact, how as adults could we have this? So I reached out, I reached out to Mindvision. Well, I looked at Mindvision, I was like, oh, it's all in Russia. And then I found that you're here in Australia doing it. I was like, oh my God, what a gift. I have to speak to Alina. I know I stalked you a little bit, but I really appreciate you turning up because I think we're going to have an incredible discussion. So thank you. Thank you.
Thank you for having me, Jane. Um, yes, I teach kids the Info Vision program, and I've been doing that for the last 5 years. And I found that with the children who are dyslexic and delayed in their learning tend to perform really, really well. And the reason for that is because they're not in their left brain, and we as adults are so caught up in our analytical mind, our science, our academia. Um, it goes into all aspects of critical thinking, skepticism, uh, not believing. You know, I think COVID was a great example of those that were left brain as opposed to those that were right brain. And that's basically what I do, is just help children access their creative mind, which is the right side of the brain, also connected to the heart. And so when they see, they see with their subconscious mind. It's not— you're not thinking, you're not analyzing, you're not theorizing, you're not skeptical about it. You're just shutting off all your 5 senses that are connected to your conscious mind. So when we put the 3D mask on It's— you can open your eyes under the mask and it's pitch black, but you're not actually using your eyes. You're using your subconscious mind. And so that's how it works.
It sounds very, you know, out there, but it is. Your experience was you were kind of skeptical in the beginning too. So I kind of— I want to hear how you came about, you know, the mind vision work, because you're a homeopath. So, you know, yes. You're used to working with people's bodies and seeing transformation through health. What led you down this track, this kind of road?
Well, someone sent me a video of the, uh, very first film that came out, and it's called, um, Insight. It's on Vimeo. It's a South American program called the Extraocular Vision, and I fell in love with it. I absolutely fell in love with it, and I thought I wouldn't mind teaching 'Why don't you show the kids this? This was fantastic.' And, um, it's just some of the neuroscience interviews in that film that really draw me to it. And I realized they're accessing the right side of the brain, and that's how I came across it.
It's, it's interesting, isn't it? Because when I think of us as adults, and, you know, we've had that 0 to 7 years where we're really impressionable, which then kind of creates the world that we go on and live in from our, you know, the conditioning and what we need to do to be loved, accepted, safe, secure, whatever those things are. It's, it's interesting how Mindvision and what you're doing is you've gone back to the children because they have this sense of, what is it, innocence? Like, what is it that changes within us that you can then access to give them this, this inner insight?
Well, children are not fully developed in their left brain. It's not until we send them to school to condition them to think a certain way. It's not just put the mask on, it's also using conscious language. I never ask the child, what is this? I always say, tell me what you see. Because when you show a child and say This is a bird. What you should say, say this is called a bird, which is conscious language. Otherwise you're negating that when you're placing a judgment. And our entire educational system is based on a judgment.
So, so you were kind of suspending the definitions and labels we put on things as an adult, but as a child, they're still curious, they're still innocent, they're still open and malleable in looking at how something could be because they haven't been told the definition.
Exactly. So the more they believe they can see, they see. This makes skepticism tangible. And I'll give you an example of what that actually means. We were, um, I had a little boy who did really, really well on the program, and the father didn't believe he could see the colors. And so when he walked into the room, because children are tied— doesn't matter what age, but right up until the age of about 16, 17, depending on the household and the dynamics of that household— children are tied into their parents' consciousness. So when the father was in the room trying to show the kid all colors, but his thought processes were affecting the child's ability to see The child couldn't see, and he said, oh, the light switched off, I can't see a thing. We had to remove the father out of the room whilst the mother was still there and then go through the colors again, and he could see. So it really makes skepticism in adults tangible because they're predominantly left brain. That within itself is a vibration.
Because we do hear that we can affect the energy of others. And even to, you know, a simple experiment that I have done to kind of prove this is, you know, you're sitting in a car kind of a bit back from someone and you're looking over to the person who's diagonally across from you and you stare at them and they all of a sudden turn around. Like you can energetically turn around, right? And you've seen this in some of those big, you know, rah-rah events where they get the energy of the group going. So it makes sense that as adults with our defined skepticism or our defined experiences that have led to our beliefs of where we are, that we can influence others and more so children that are more susceptible to that. So removing the adult makes sense. So you talk about, well, I guess in this, this modality, there's a concept of the secret to this is unlearning? Is it possible, do you think, for an adoptee to unlearn these practices?
It takes time, um, and it, it's purely on the individual's, um, viewpoint of themselves and the world around them. It's, um, it just depends on the person. Like, it is done unto you as you believe, as you know, Dr. Bruce Lipton has mentioned many times in his Biology of Belief, and also Dr. Joseph Murphy's Powers of the Subconscious Mind, he says the same thing. So really, it is done as you believe. So most kids who are excited say, yeah, I can do this. They end up seeing straight away because that within itself is a vibration. The negativity of our own mind is a separate vibration as well. So it just depends on how well you believe in it. We can unlearn a lot of things. That takes time. Therefore, adults take time to see. When I train the parents of these children, I often tell them, have no opinion, have no judgment, just be there in that moment. Put the mask on yourself, sit there in your own silence for about 10 to 15 minutes or half an hour, and just observe what happens to your own mind. Just observe what your belief patterns are. If you start to get images, a lot of the parents tend to say, I get a feeling, and that's the gut feeling. That's accessing the subconscious mind because bypassing all your 5 senses. When you put the mask on, it's pitch black. You can still open your eyes, but you're only picking up what's— what you can hear, what you can smell, touch, and taste, not what you can see. It shuts off the left brain. So a lot of parents tend to say, oh, I get these premonitions, and then there's a knock on the door or a phone call, or, you know, you'd be thinking of someone and they call you. And I said, yeah, because you're accessing that part of the brain. So it's a skill set. You can do it. It just— if you're diligent enough to sit yourself down and be patient with yourself, it can be done. It might take someone a month or two, might take someone a year, might take someone a few years. It just depends. The reason why it works so well on the dyslexic adults and the adults that are delayed in their learning is because they have no expectations of themselves. They're not, they're not afraid to fail because failure is not a part of their conscious belief.
Okay, well, I've probably been a little remiss here in not actually, uh, letting you explain what EOV is and what we're talking about. So that, uh, what happens, you're putting a mask on someone and you're taking them through an experience. What is the result of that? And, and lead me through that.
So the result of that is like a meditative mind. You're putting them in a meditative state, just being silent and allowing their thought processes just to come and go and think of whatever is happening. Yep, that's okay, let it go. Just come into your own silence. It's basically just going inward. So sometimes what will happen with some children, they'll start to see a light in their forehead. Others tend to see it around, a light building up around their bodies. Um, most of the time with adults, they'll say, oh, there's light shining through. I said, well, if there was no light shining through at the beginning, then that's just your own light body that's picking up information. Keep in mind, light is nothing but information.
Okay, so I've got this black mask on that doesn't allow in any light in I am dropping into a state where I'm just open to information. I start to see a light. How do you then— are teaching people to see without their eyes? Like, how does that develop?
So that develops over a period of time. Sometimes I'll be holding up a, um, a colored piece of paper. It could be blue, could be yellow, could be any color. And whilst they're in that meditative mind, I'll get them to see what color they're looking at or what color I'm holding up, and I'll say, well, tell me what color you see. And a lot of the time they'll, you know, get it right or get it wrong or get the complementary color as well, because everything comes in pairs. So it's just basically going into your, your own state of, um silence, going inwards into your own. It's the same as remote viewing. I don't know if your viewers or yourself have heard of remote viewing, but you'll start to get images. Sometimes if I'm holding up an orange color, you know, some adults tend to see a mandarin or an orange. And I said, yeah, that's correct, it is an orange colored piece of paper. So it's not a party trick, it's just, it's the same vision that you see when you're going to sleep at night. And you have that mind movie playing in front of your pineal gland when you're accessing that. So this isn't accessing the pineal gland, it's accessing a vision of your subconscious mind. And sometimes it comes through feeling and intuition and hunches. And with the adults who struggle to see, vision comes in the form of gut feeling, intuition. There are many ways to see. It's not just you're actually seeing things in front of you. It's a form of remote viewing.
So, so what fascinates me here is, and, and why I think this is important for this section of, of the book that I'm researching, is that a lot of people are in their head, and there may or may not be an awareness that we are basically, you know, a product of our genes and our past experiences and all the things that we have made a definition about. And The thing that fascinated me with what was happening with the children was, and the vision, the videos that I saw was, you know, these kids being able to read, you know, putting their fingers on this book and reading with these blackout goggles and then navigating around cones and, you know, being able to literally see without their eyes. And obviously, you know, there's this process of learning this. And what struck me was, what an incredible gift this is in, in just having an awareness and the knowledge that this is possible, that this, you know, we've— we were at this stage in our adulthood where there's nothing that really can, you know, we think we're stuck, but children can be taught this. And we, if we go into this mind of the curious, the innocent, the right brain, the opportunity for us to suspend what we think we know and our predicting brain predicting everything from our past experiences, then it is possible for us to potentially go, I can have this life of abundance, I can have whatever I want. And like, you know, Bruce and John and all the others talk about, which is you— your perception creates your reality, right? So this is the kind of thread that I'm, I'm pulling along here, is that how do we get back to this childlike state. And I think you've got some, some possible techniques that we could use as adults to access that right side of the brain. Is that right?
Yes. I would recommend that your viewers start paying attention to their gut feeling and their thought processes. Sometimes you might get a feeling of something, you might think, oh, that's just a daydream, it's just stop being skeptical. Just observe that which is coming. Observe the images that are coming to you. Observe those thought processes and stop the skepticism, because your discernment will allow you to decide whether a contract, a person, an event, or a journey is right for you. The more you get into your heart space, and this does bring you closer to the heart via the sympathetic nervous system. This is accessing your sympathetic nervous system. And once you pay more attention to it rather than ignoring your gut feeling, say for instance, if you're driving and you think, oh, should I go, you know, um, right or left? Which way is quicker through traffic? Sit there in your silence for about 5 seconds and don't think anything, and allow the image, whether it's left or right, or an arrow pointing to the right or an arrow pointing to the left, allow that to guide you. The only reason why we have a subconscious mind is to allow you to be guided through your avatar and your 5 senses, but we don't pay attention to that. Pay attention to your senses, especially your gut feeling. Listen to your heart. That's the second brain. We've been taught to be disconnected when we are educated, and it's not a bad thing, it's a good thing. Um, we're taught— the school system teaches you to be disconnected from your hearts, and I teach this to my pregnant ladies quite often, um, when in homeopathy is, well, you know, what does your heart tell you? Does it tell you that you're contracting and you're closer to birth? Is it telling you that you want to have a C-section? How far are you in this, in this whole birth process? You know, um, listen to what your senses and what you're actually feeling. Get in touch with your feeling without having an opinion. An opinion is what destroys you. Because there are only facts. Mm.
You, um, you touched on that, that heart-brain connection. You, do you use the HeartMath methodology as well? Is that, uh, one of the techniques to drop into?
Um, I recommend the parents of the children that I'm training and other trainers who want to get in touch with that. Um, but a lot of the people I trained already do meditation, so they get in touch with that. They Yes, that is a way. With the children, there's no need. You just put the mask on. They'll play with it for a while. They have no sense of thinking time. They're not thinking about, hurry up, when's this going to be over? I've got to get to work. I've got to start cooking dinner. You know, I need to put my shoes on, get out the door, go for that walk. There's no time.
Yeah, it's, it's interesting. I can think back. I remember my mum used to come into our room every night, my sister and I, and she used to say, You're Jane Slacksmith. You can do anything but fly. And with God's help, you could prosper and fly. And I had this from a very young age embedment of that I could do anything. And so I think I was fearless. And I honestly was surprised if I didn't get my way or my intention of what I wanted, because I went into every situation believing that I would have the outcome that I wanted. And it, it shocked me when I kind of started talking about this in my 20s with my friends and heard about their experiences of growing up that wasn't the same. And, you know, it was disempowering, or they had to orchestrate something to get attention, or— and, and they didn't have this, um, I guess it was a belief in themselves that they could achieve anything. And it just, it strikes me as a parent and as an adult and even teachers how important it for us to embed some of these things into the children because they, they're so impressionable. And we have this, you know, the next 80, 90 years of their lives that are affected by the first 10. And it just, I find this extraordinary that there's not even this awareness and this discussion around the fact that we have been conditioned to live the life that we have now from a very young age, but we have the opportunity to use some of these techniques that you're talking about that can allow us to be aware of the subconscious that then lets us to go, well, maybe I can choose a different track. And that awareness, I think, is the key, that the kids have kind of suspended all that, right? They've just—
ah, they don't have a fear of failure. Adults do. Now, if you can drop your fear and you can drop the fear of failure. Obviously, there are some instances where failure is not an option. Say, for instance, a neurosurgeon, you know, when he's operating, you've got to get it right. And that's a different thing. That's not a day-to-day, um, way of living. But most adults, if you drop your fear of failure and you drop that judgment and you drop the ego, life becomes so much fun. And exciting, because it's a game. It's a game. And the more fun you make it, the better you see, the more things open up to you. The minute you drop your ego— like most people who attend Dr. Joe's workshops for meditation and attend so many other workshops on meditation— the minute they drop their egos, that whole energy just explodes. They either have a Kundalini experience or a mystical experience. The minute you drop your ego, you drop the fear of failure. Like, who cares if you're right or wrong when you're talking to someone about anything, especially if it's politics or finance or, you know, who cares? It's not important to have an opinion. It's, it's important to be present here and now because you will have the ability to discern whether something is negative or positive and it's loving to you.
I love that because that really connects to that being present, doesn't it? It's not living in the past of I'm unworthy because I've got proven experiences that have shown that I haven't turned up and have been told I'm not worthy, or living in the future where it's like, let's quickly get to the end result because I don't think I'm enough to get there, so I want to see everything. So if we, we're living in the future or in the past, We're in the ego, in the belief system. But in what you're saying to me is, if we're in the present, just parasympathetic, flight, fight, fawn, or faint, all of those are suspended. We're in, we're in this low stress state. We're connected to our heart. Then we can just be open to the experience and not be skeptical and not fear failure, but just be aware of what is happening. And then our gut. We hear the gut. Is that— I'm hearing the intuition. I'm open to getting information.
Well, the gut can only guide you. That intuition can only guide you if you shut your left brain off and stop having an opinion.
So tell me about the eyesight.
Is—
we've got these 5 senses, or potentially, I think someone told me there was a 6th sense the other day, but 5 senses. Is eyesight the most dominant or the most powerful to turn off this, the conscious mind, and getting to the subconscious? Is that—
yes, because everything is vision. We're being bombarded. Like, the minute you open up a tablet or your phone and you're getting all these colors and visions and opinions and pictures, and that's overstimulating your senses. And it's giving you an opinion, but is it based on facts? Welcome to Exit the Matrix Stories of Success with your host Jane Slack-Smith, where we celebrate the incredible journeys of individuals who've transcended their limitations and achieved extraordinary success. How much of what you're seeing and what you're watching, uh, on TV, or what you're watching on YouTube, or on Instagram, or Facebook— how much of it is factual, and how much of it is actually relevant to you? And why does somebody else's opinion trigger you? How does it affect your everyday life? Pay attention to that. Is it important? Does it hinder you from, you know, breathing, or living, or eating, or having a roof, and feeling safe? Mm-hmm.
Because I think a lot of people, I mean, we're comfortable in our lives, right? And people who might be listening to this or experiencing this are sitting there going, I'm good. Everything's okay. I've now got this little bit of awareness that there's something other, and there's a little unease that maybe there's something I'm missing out on. Maybe I could, you know, live, be more fulfilled or live more abundantly or have the health, wealth, relationship, connection, spirit that I really want. And they're listening to this and they're going, okay, so there's a few steps here. I just have to be aware that this is— there's something other. I have to put aside all of my thoughts, feelings, everything else that's coming up. I need to be in my right brain. You know, do we, we put on maybe a mask, or we do we just meditate, or like, how do we then go This is, this is the journey going forward.
The mask, Jane, is just a prop. We used to do it with eyes closed and then sticky tape the eyes.
Um, that sounds a lot more painful.
Well, not sticky tape, maybe that's not the correct term to use, but put some sort of tape over or some sort of scarf or some sort of, you know, shut-eye mask. But the mask is just a prop. You can do this with your eyes closed. Right. And you could grab a color, grab a few colors, and just play around with it. Shuffle the colors, put them in a pile, and sit on it without seeing it. And then tell yourself, what's the color on top of the pile? Just play around with it. Don't have an opinion. Just go into your own silence Don't have an opinion, and you might get it wrong the first couple of times, but then when you go back the second day and you play around with it, it's like, oh, I got that right. And then that excitement is a certain state of being, and it brings you to your present moment. When we're laughing, we're quite present, right?
Right, we're quite present. So yeah, skepticism and just being open and curious and— yeah, yeah, yeah, child—
childish. The more you think about it, the less you'll be able to achieve. Don't look, because looking is a judgment. Look over here, look over there, look at this, look at that. Don't look, just see.
Okay, so the children that you've worked with, you start with this, you know, what is the color what is the object, where does that go? Like, do they then graduate to walking across the road without— with their eyes closed? Like, where do you take— what is the outcome for these kids?
So I start off with colors, and that might take about a week or two, and they usually see within the first hour. And then I move on to, um, shapes, black and white shapes. And then I move on to letters, and then from letters I'll move on to more complex numbers, single digits and then double digits. And it's the same with letters. I'll do like one letter, and then I'll do two-letter words, and then move on to three-letter words until— just depending on the child, how well they can start to see all that— and then move on to pictures. And I slowly move away from them, meters away from them, and ask them if they could still see. So I could be a meter or two away from them, and I'll have the flashcards or the colors or numbers, and I'll change it up. So the distance between myself and them is not close as it was the first moment when we started, to just get them to expand and get them to believe that you're doing this without your eyes, but you don't actually need to be in the room for me to do this, for you to see. So then we move on to reading, and then really it's up to them if they want to start having a soccer game with other kids and shooting, you know, baskets or shooting a goal or playing netball. It's up to them, just making other kids who are not mask consciously aware that they are not receiving the information through their eyes and their visual cortex, and that goes straight to the left side of the brain. It could be right side as well, but, uh, that, you know, they're accessing different parts of their brain. So no, I don't recommend put the mask on and walk across the road. I would do that on a farm, but never— because I don't know if other people who are driving into the street are cognizant of what's actually going on. And most of the time, most of the kids will walk up and down on the footpath and read all the number plates of all the cars.
Wow. So what happens, like, they, they learn these skills. What have been the flow-on effects of the benefits in their life? What, what are the, the, you know, tangible kind of how they turn up differently?
That's a good question. I was hoping you'd get to that. So the first thing most parents notice is increased confidence, conscious awareness Intuition is definitely increased. They follow their gut feeling. And most of the time, what most parents have picked up, that if they get a phone call and the child could be busy reading or doing their homework, and they might be coloring in, they'll say, 'Oh, Mom, Nan is calling, she's on the phone.' And they can't see the phone. The phone is either face down or in a place where it's not you know, where they can't actually see the fun. So in that sense, I had a 17-year-old kid. I remember he was in the car with his mum. He struggled to see. So every person is different. He struggled to see after a 2-week period, but we realized his vision was through intuition and premonition. So they were driving on a highway and he saw this car come past really, really fast and pass them over, and he sort of thought, oh, that car's going to get into a car accident. He should slow down. 5Ks down the road, he did. And then the kid got really excited— not that that's a good thing— but he said, I saw this, you know, Mom, I saw this, I saw this happen. It came to him in a day— it's like a daydream or a thought where he would just see this vision in front of him. And it comes to him in a daydream. And now it happens all the time where, you know, he would park his car somewhere, then he'd see another car come in front of him and park in front. So he would see it in a day vision, and that's how it would come to him, through a premonition or intuition or a gut feeling. Not necessarily putting the mask on and being able to identify the colors, numbers, or shapes, where his younger siblings were able to do it with the mask on.
So the idea is not to be able to, for instance, see things without, uh, your eyes. The, the opportunity is actually just an op to release the, the child into this greater confidence that they have the ability to do pretty much whatever they put their mind to.
Learning becomes a lot faster, right, once they start accessing different parts parts of their brain, mainly the right side and their gut intuition, learning becomes almost spontaneous.
And I mean, there's science behind this, the neuroconnections of seeing children with these kind of skills that they've learned. They've got more of an active right side of the mind, right?
Yes, and it's more present, and the information is picked up before the visual image is presented to you. Mm. And anyone who follows the HeartMath Institute could actually look that science up on their website. There've been plenty of documentaries because the heart keeps a memory and keeps imagery as well.
Okay. So like 1990, they found that the heart's got 40,000 neuro cells in it. So hence the memory. I read something and I just want your thoughts on this. That the skin can see?
Yes, you've got photon receptors on your skin as well.
This isn't like a known thing. You say that very confidently.
Pardon?
You say that confidently, like that's a known thing. Is that true? Like, we can— we've got—
yeah, yeah, yeah. Starfish. Starfish don't have eyes. They pick up information, uh, on lights and shades. All the time. Starfish don't have eyes.
So our skin, our fingers— hence these kids reading with their fingers doing this, or reading however they read— is the photons on our skin.
Yeah, you pick up information, uh, 300, like around your whole body you just pick up information.
Well, okay, it's interesting. When I was being coached by my coach and, uh, around increasing my intuition. And I kept saying to him, how do I do it? And he's like, just do it. I'm like, seriously? I'm an engineer. I need some, like, instruction manual on this. And the, the thing that he told me to do was, like, when you're going for your morning walk, every time you get to a corner, just say, which direction? And I've pretty much been doing intuitive walking for the last 4 years, basically nearly every day. And it's interesting, like, I know that I want to get to a certain place to get a coffee but I get there by all these different means and, and ways, and I see different things because I'm now on a different path to the normal path that I take. And I think that I'm kind of rewiring my brain to always, you know, be ready for something different. It's, it's interesting when you talk about the car analogy because recently I have been driving on the road and there's no one around, and I just get this move lanes and I'll move the lane and I don't know if anything could have happened because there doesn't seem to be a threat around. But by saying yes to my intuition, I'm consistently telling it that I'm aware and I'm receptive, which allows me then to take on, um, opportunity. Like opportunities will come up or an email come in and I'll look at the hundreds of emails that I get and I'll be this one today feels right. I'm going to like, whatever it is, I'm just going to click on that. And an opportunity or a learning or an insight comes. And so I just want to throw that to you in this kind of saying yes to your intuition or saying yes to your subconscious or superconscious, the information that you can grab. How have you seen that manifest in maybe your life or others' lives? With them becoming more, I guess, receiving.
The more you pay attention to that intuition— and it's okay to be wrong. Who cares if you've taken the wrong exit? Who cares? Who cares if you, um, you know, bought the wrong product and you need to return it, where at the time you felt like it was the right thing for you? 'Who cares? It's not important.' That's an opinion, and that's left brain. The more you go back and you follow that intuition, the better it gets. Remember, you've only— you've got the training wheels on, so it's okay to get it wrong every now and then. Like, who cares? That's left brain within itself, the fact that you care, that, 'Oh, I don't want to make a mistake.' You're not investing billions of dollars Yeah, you're not operating to save somebody's life. You're, um, not walking a fine line on a bridge where someone behind you could, you know, um, you could have a catastrophic outcome. You know, you're not a pilot that's saying, you know, let's have a crack. Yeah, it's, you know, identify where you are in time and space. Where are you? I'm in the car, I'm driving. Should I take a left turn or right turn? I'm not sure. Go into your own silence and A technique that really, really helps, uh, a lot of the adults and even the children to get out of their left brain is start to tap. Tap different areas. So you're breaking that circuitry of continuously thinking. And if you need to do it for a longer period of time just to get into your own silence and pay attention to something else, that automatically takes attention away from what you're thinking and puts you right into the present moment. It distracts you from your left brain. So if you do decide to close your eyes and you get a mask and you want to play around with it and you're struggling to find the colors, I often say, just don't think, tap somewhere on your body. Or I'll tap them and it'll take the attention away from the left brain. And maybe if I'm tapping them right here, although they'll start to feel the sensation here and then And then when you pull it away, immediately ask them, tell me what you see. Then pay attention to that very first thought or insight that comes to you in that first minute. And often the answer will come to you because you've distracted yourself from your left brain and you're just centering yourself back into your right brain with that little distraction.
You know, the power of the brain and the mind and the conscious and the subconscious and the self-conscious and superconscious and all of the things that are running through us just fascinates me. And I was listening to a podcast recently called the Telepathy Tapes. Oh yes. And the lady there was a neuroscientist and she had a number of people reach out and say, I think my nonverbal autistic child is reading my mind. And you're familiar with this work?
Uh, I have been approached by these people. I haven't been familiar with this work, uh, but I, um, have been approached by some of the people from the telepathy tapes. So what happens is autistic kids are quite present. They're not thinking, they're not feeling— well, they are feeling, sorry, but they're not analyzing and theorizing. They're not having an opinion. They're quite present. You can pick up a lot of information when you're present, completely present.
Yeah.
Not thinking, not judging, not having an opinion. That's the fastest way to drop everything and come into the present moment is stop having an opinion. It's not important.
You're not that important. Not that many people are thinking about you is what I tell myself regularly. The, um, what fascinated me with listening to some of these tapes was that that with the advent of technology and the, um, scribing tablets that these kids can use, um, and to communicate being non-verbal, that there was this opportunity for them to be tested as to, are you really reading your parents' mind? And because we're kind of going into this, I don't know, are they psychic abilities, what, whatever some people might term you know, reading without your eyes. And, you know, they've done these ECG tests and they've, you know, put the parent in a different room and they've got the parents, you know, thinking of a song in their mind and the child is writing down the words and the title. So there is this kind of, you know, suspension that I believe in, which is when we do get out of our minds, all those children or those people that by virtue— I think you mentioned dyslexia, and you know, they've already kind of set themselves up for failure. I'm not good enough, or whatever it is, that that fear of failure and skepticism is gone because society tells them that, you know, they're not right. There is this opportunity for those and children as well, this other subsection of society, to be more open to receiving information. Is that, is that right? Yes. How I'm putting that together?
Yes. Yes, it is.
Okay. So, so just coming back to, okay, here we are. We, we've got this kind of life. We've now got this kind of awareness that we've got something, an operating system, a code, an algorithm, beliefs, conditions, limitations, whatever it is that is holding us back from what we really want and desire. And to live fulfilled, you know, fulfilled life in our hearts. The techniques that we've just covered here are the opportunity to tap, to get yourself, you know, in different parts of your body to kind of like break the left side of the brain, to breathe in that heart kind of brain connection of, you know, trying to get in or getting into the parasympathetic, the meditation, and then suspending your sight by using like the blindfold or closing your eyes. Is there, is there anything else that we can do? I, did I hear drawing upside down? Like, are there other things?
Yes. Um, I do have them on my website. You can draw upside down cuz that's purely right brain as well.
Right.
Painting, singing, laughing, they're all right brain activities.
So singing and laughing gets us into the—
Yeah.
Yeah.
Especially laughing cuz you upregulate so many genes. And like I said, it brings you to the present moment. You're not thinking, and that in itself is a certain vibration that you're on. If you're skeptical, that it's a negative vibration. It's the skepticism and all those feelings of envy, jealousy, having, you know, needing to be right. They're all lower chakra energy centers. They're all to do with the lower chakras. Stuff. The InfoVision program— and we'll just move my video— the InfoVision program is everything from here up, from the heart up, chest up. Yes, absolutely. We're so caught in our bottom energy centers that we're not navigating properly throughout this world, because the stomach is about consumption, it's envy, it's jealousy, it's to do with consumerism, capitalism. Um, you know, the elimination, uh, chakra, which is the color orange, it's to do with relationships and, you know, to do with gender and ideology. And then you have your root chakra. Am I grounded enough? You know, am I feeling safe? Is it okay? You know, have I got a roof over my head? It's all the insecure feelings. We're so caught in the last 3 energy centers that few of us make it to the heart and further up.
Interesting. So finally, I just want to go back to the Russians who started this, right? Was there— there's research, like, you, you've worked with some of the, the leaders in this field, and how did this come about?
This has always been around, Jane. Um, this is not invented by anybody in particular, right? The different techniques that different organizations use— like, I've had my training with the InfoVision, um, authors Mark and Mihajla. They have a different activation technique. I've also done training with Mr. Denisov and Marina. They have a different activation technique. There's also the extraocular vision. They have a different way of accessing that. So everyone has a different path. As we say, there are many roads to Damascus. Everyone arrives at the same conclusion. This has been around for hundreds of years. This was taught in the monasteries. This was taught in Tibet, in China, over centuries. This is well documented. Drunvalo Melchizedek has clearly said that. It's a book called Living in the Heart, and he clearly books about the children who can see. Um, more information on this is— and it's in many books, I can't think of any at the top of my head, but the one Living in the Heart by Drunvalo Melchizedek is a popular one. So you could, uh, your readers could probably look at that as well. That goes further into it. It's been around for a very long time. There are Bulgarian monasteries in the mountain who were teaching this in the early 1800s to a lot of the kids in the villages there.
Wow.
It's not new, this is old.
Okay, there you go. Well, that's just blown my whole belief system. I thought it was like a 1970s, '80s kind of the Russians found this out.
So no, no, it's information that has been kept from us, information that has been maybe not brought to the Western world. But there are many kids in China and Siberia that move things with their hand because they've had that training over the years. They get themselves into a state of feeling and knowing that that which they think and feel will come to pass and happen, and therefore they make it happen.
Interesting. Well, I have to say, this is I wasn't too sure where this was going to go because I just, I had the intuitive hit that there was something that was happening with these kids that we could as adults take on. And just, I think the awareness of it's possible that there's more than what we think that's happening. And you've really, you know, led me to see and suspend belief. And once again, the importance of being present, you know, present in the moment and not making anything mean anything. And I love the fact that laughing is a way to get present. So that's, that's a really great little hack and tip. And the tapping is too. I might have to look into EFT and just see, you know, a little bit more about that. But this has been such a gift because I knew that it sounded a little unusual, but the unusual, when it becomes usual, just becomes part of our life. And I think that more and more, as we can suspend the fact that this is my lot in life and there's something else that's the potential for me, or I can live the life that I want— there are all these little techniques and little clues that have been left, as you've just shown us, over the centuries that we've missed or we haven't been educated to. And just this awareness gives gives me this hope of the gifts that we can have. So I just really appreciate your time. Thank you so very much.
Welcome. Thank you so much.
And how do people reach out to you? How can we, uh, to—
if—
so you have the children's programs, but hopefully adults at some stage in the future years might come as well.
Yes, I mean, I do treat— I do teach, train some of the adults that have got children and other, um, people who want to basically use the tools to train their children, who've got a few children, time on their hands, or other practitioners. I've been approached by a lot of kinesiologists and body workers that want to learn. So I go through the whole, um, process of not just training them and then watching them train a child, but there's also a bit of extra reading that I'd like them to do so they can comprehend that this is all energy. You're just seeing energy in motion.
What a great way to end it. Well, thank you so very much. I really appreciate your time, Melina.
Thank you.
I can't, I can't, I think we might talk again in the future.
Absolutely. Why not?
Okay. Well, as always, here's to your success. What an incredible guest this week and, uh, so many things for me to think on and, uh, different ways for us to explore our intuition, our gut feeling, and just being aware of what's happening in the present. So thank you so very much.
Thank you.
