Hi, I'm Lindsay Baumgren of Nourish Move Love, and this is your 10 minute ab workout. If you like quick and effective home workouts, you gotta hit subscribe to our YouTube channel. All right, you guys, 10 minute abs, no repeat. And this is intense. So I have the awesome Rachel with me. She's gonna be offering modifications throughout today's workout. So you can follow along with Rachel or you can take the advanced options with me. It is quick and dirty. Ten minutes, no repeats. So you have nine ab exercises, no repeats. You're gonna do each exercise for 40 seconds of work, followed by 20 seconds of rest or one time through. We have some weights with us. I have some ten pounds. This is, like I said, intense and challenging. If you want to add dumbbells, you can, or you can do this with just your body weight. Ready, Rach? Let's go. Let's jump in. We're coming over to the side. First move. I'm going to come into this bent knee position. I'm going to go single, single, double, single, single, double. For 40 seconds, Rachel's going to keep her feet on the ground and go knee, knee, double knee. All right, let's go. That's move one. You're there in three, two. Let's go. Let's go. Single, single, double. Nice. Trying to fully extend those legs. That's the challenge. Boom, boom, single, single. Getting that knee bend in. There you go. I am about 10 weeks post knee surgery been crushing upper body and abs. How this workout was born. Yeah, there it is. Come on. It's quick, it's dirty. You only do each move once, so make it count. Yes. Come on. Right here. Final 10 seconds. Finish it. Nice work, team. Let's go for 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1. Nice. You're going up and over. I'm coming into a plank. It is one push up, one arm extension. Rachel's going to take the push ups from her knees. You can take them from your knees or toes, but basically I'm going to do a push up and then I'm going to hold that high plank position. I'm going to reach right. One push up, one arm extension. Yes. Longer the arm is away from the body, harder it is for the core. We go in three, two. Let's go, let's go. Push up, reach the right arm. Push up, reach the left arm. Come on. It's 10 minutes. Yes, you can one move at a time. You only do it once. What do you think of the no repeats format? I love it. It's so motivating. Especially for abs. I feel like it's a great format for abs, right? Especially if you did a workout already that had sets and reps in it. And now you're just like, I need a finisher, but I don't want to repeat the moves because I'm already burned out. That's how I feel right now. 10 seconds. We just filmed an arm workout, and now we're adding this on. It's hard. Let's go. 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1. My arms are just toast after that. Okay, V, sit, hold, shoulder press. I'm going to bring these weights into play. You do one weight or two weights. Totally up to you. I'm going to go back to that bent knee position. I'm going to hold here, and I'm going to push. Oh, my goodness. I might be dropping to one weight. Doing this after arm day is tough. I'm going to go one way. 3, 2. Let's go. 40 seconds. Sit back and push. Push. Nice. Push. So Rachel's got her feet on the ground. Same move. Shoulders are just on fire. Questionable whether you should add this on to arm day or not, but you only got to do it once. Come on, big push. Big push. Yes. Farther. You sit back. Harder it is, guys. Come on. Stay with it. Big exhale push. Come on. 10 seconds. 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1. Holy bananas. No joke. All right, here we go. Going down to the forearms, finding the plank position. You're gonna reach your arms away, reach, reach, and then do a plank up. So it's forearm, plank, reach, reach up, up, down, down. Who decided to do this after arm day? Who decided add this to leg day? Here we go. Start on the forearms. Three, two. Let's go. So reach the right arm, the left arm. Now plank up, plank down. Reach right, reach left. Bring it up to high. Plank. Bring it down. Reach, reach, up and down. Nice work, guys. Reach, reach, up and down. Reach, reach. This is hard. That's why we call it intense abs. Yes, you can. 10 seconds. Reach, reach. 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1. I'm just holding. Plank. Okay, nice. Now we go into a rolling side plank. Just gonna get these weights out of the way. Okay, you're gonna come into a plank position facing this way. But my arms are gonna be stacked like this. So forearms are stacked this way because I'm gonna roll into a side plank. I'm gonna touch my toe, then I'm gonna roll over to the other way. I'm gonna reach for a toe touch. Rachel's just gonna do A modified side plank on the knees. Yes. Yeah. 40 seconds. Let's try not to kick each other in the face. I know. Okay, go team. We're gonna roll towards the camera in three, two. Let's go. Find that side plank. Hold. Can you reach for the toe? Roll it over. Other side. Reach for the toe. Roll it over. Side plank. Rolling. Side plank. Nice work. Yes, Rach, you take it at your pace. That's a good part about this ab workout. There are options for everybody here. You choose what's going to work for you today. Nice work. Reach for that toe if you can. Awesome job, team. Nice work, Rach. Ten seconds, guys. Ten seconds. There it is. Nice. Five, four, three, two, and one. Tough stuff. Okay, V, sit dumbbell is going to pass under the knees. I'm grab one weight right here. Come back to that bent knee position and do a little bicep curl. Pass it under. Bicep curl again. Challenging. If you're adding this on arm day. Start with the dumbbell. Right. Here we go in three. Sit back. Two and one. Curl it, Pass it, Curl it. Pass it, Curl it. Pass it. Now, the farther your knees are from your chest, the harder it's going to be. Rachel and doing more of a little bit of a sit up to get that weight underneath her because her feet are staying planted on the ground. Nice work. Transfer I like too. That's so side to side. Right? Right. Loading the weight on one side of the body. We are unilateral creatures, which means we typically are using load bearing, weight bearing on one side of the body at a time. This mimics that. Come on, stay with me. 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1. Holy stinkin bananas. You said intense. Wrote it in the title. Wrote it in the title. It's got to be intense. All right, grab your weights. Grab your weights. You're gonna come down into a dumbbell chest press. Alternating leg lower. So push. Switch, switch, switch, switch. Rachel's gonna bend at the knees. We go in three, two. Let's go. Switch, switch, switch, switch again. You can take this at your pace. You can slow it down, speed it up. Bend the knees. The longer the lever, harder it is. I mean, means longer the legs, harder it is. Shorten the lever, bend at the knees, easier. Let's go. Getting a lot of leg flutters in here. A lot of scissor kicks. I feel the burn. This is intense. I said it. 10 minute intense abs. Let's go. If you can stay with me. Come on. Finally. 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. Nice work, team. All right, that's It. We got a plank hold. Plank hold. Plank hold. That's move nine, right? Did we miss a move? Did I miss a move? Forearm plank. Rolling side plank. V under the knees. Scissor kick. Oh, we got a scissor kick. Dumbbell pass. This is the move I missed. I was like, I missed one plank hold at the end. This is your move. So scissor kick pass. You can crunch up or you can stay hollow. We go in three, two. So I'm gonna drop one leg. I'm gonna pass the weight switch again. That load transfer, right? Rachel's just doing a hand clap in the middle. I love it. No, wait. Yes. Nice. I was like, I had to have missed a move. We're almost there, guys. We're doing too good on time. We're doing too good on time. Now you know what's coming. It's this and a plank hold. That's all I got left. Yes. Stay with it. You are so strong right here. 10 more seconds. Yes, you can. My abs are on fire. My abs are on fire. Ah. 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1. Plank hope. Now our last one. Is it just me because I'm like eight months postpartum, or is it just. This is just hard. It's just tough. Plank. Hold a high plank or hold a low plank. Whatever you want. You just gotta hold a plank. You're gonna hold a plank for one minute. One minute. I know that extra 20 seconds, it's gonna stink. Find your plank. I'm going forearm. What's your poison? Forearm. Forearm. Yep. I like it better in three, two. One minute. Plank hold. I have been working on my planks. I will say my five year old son has started challenging me and my husband to plank offs. He's like, before bed. I'm like, okay, listen, mom's tired. I just managed three kids. I worked all day, cooked you dinner, did the dishes. And he's like, mom, before we go to bed, can we have a plank challenge? Like, I can't say no to. My 5 year old. Asked me to do a plank challenge. Do you know how long the kid planked for? 3 minutes and 49 seconds. He planked for 3 minutes and 49 seconds. He should come lead this workout. He should be leading this workout. You guys are halfway. You have 30 seconds left. I made it to 2 minutes and 14 seconds. And then my 2 year old, 3 year old jumped on my back and I hit the ground like a ton of bricks. Okay. She, like got on my. She's like, let me get hung for a pony, right? I was like, no, no. Mom's been playing game for two minutes. I'm down. But I was like, okay. Think about it. I mean, my five year old's like, what, 30 pounds? He's got to hold up. Oh, this is hard. You guys. Come on. You're in it for 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. What do you think, Rachel? What's that? The most intense 10 minute ab workout you've ever done. I know. It's done. It's done. High fives from the back. Way to go, team. We'll see you back here for more killer at home workouts.
