10-Minute Low Impact HIIT Workout (No Equipment, All Standing)

In this 10‑minute, low‑impact HIIT session, Lindsay Baumgren of Nourish with Love leads viewers through ten distinct body‑weight moves performed while staying fully standing. Each exercise is done for 40 seconds of work followed by 20 seconds of rest, with no repeats. The routine includes a warm‑up knee pull, hamstring curls with pull‑backs, alternating punches and crunches, front‑back lunges, lateral squat‑reaches, skater‑style jacks, toe‑reach hops, and a dancer‑style finisher. Throughout the workout, Lindsay (joined by co‑host Rachel) provides clear form cues, modification options, and motivational encouragement. She emphasizes the benefits of low‑impact cardio for heart rate elevation, bone density, joint health, and overall strength, positioning the session as beginner‑friendly, equipment‑free, and suitable for quick “stand‑up” workouts at home or at the end of a desk‑bound day. The video concludes with calls to subscribe, explore related standing‑ab workouts, and join a two‑week strength challenge, reinforcing community engagement and accountability.

We have just 10 minutes together. I always say 10 minutes is always better than zero minutes. So let's move our bodies. We're just gonna jump right into today's workout. It is a 10 minute low impact thing hit cardio workout. So we are going to use just our body weight. We're going to stay all standing and we're going to get some steps in. We're going to raise our heart rate and we're going to knock it out. You ready, Rach? Love it. Let's do it. Love it. Okay, we have ten moves for you. Ten body weight exercises. You're going to do each move for 40 seconds of work, followed by 20 seconds of rest. You do it once and you're done with it. So it's also a no repeat workout, which we love. So your first move, you're just going to take a nice wide stance. This is going to be part of our warm up. Knee, pull, knee, pull, knee. So you're pulling the knee between your elbows. Just like that. 40 seconds. You ready, Rach? Go. Let's get into it. Hands go up. We go in three, two. Let's go. Pull right, pull left, pull right, pull left. Just pull that knee between those elbows. Bigger the arms, higher the heart rate, all low impact. Just 10 minutes, 40 seconds per move. Do it once and you're done. Let's go. Come on. Nice work, you guys. Nice work. Boom, boom. The first two moves are kind of like big warm up exercises. You can think of them as nice. Get that body nice and warm. Maybe you're adding this on. Maybe you're doing it as a standalone workout. We always say 10 minutes is always better than none. So way to go, way to show up. Let's finish it. 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. Nice work. Rest for 20 seconds. Now you're going to go into a hamstring curl with a pullback. So you're going to go pull and pull. Pull. Squeeze your back. Nice little back fly for your back. Pull your heels towards your glutes. Hamstring curl, right? So you're just going to kind of bounce side to side with a little hamstring curl. We're going to pull on that right leg as we pull that arm apart. We go in three, two. Let's go. Let's go. Pull and pull. Pull the heel towards the glute. Open the quads, open the chest. Squeeze the back. Squeeze the heel towards the glutes. Squeezing that hamstring back of the leg. Pull and pull. There it is. Nice. I love a good hamstring curl. Me too. I like adding the arms, too. Really opens up, you know? Right. You feel the back? I feel my back, upper back, back, and shoulders. They're working. Nice work. Awesome job, you guys. We're gonna add some punches and crunches next. Punches and crunches and crunches. I love it. Hoe it and I don't even know it. Nice finish. Right here. Final five. Four, three, two, and one. Nice. Let's use our left hand first. So I'm gonna go two jabs. So jab, jab, and then crunch, crunch, jab left, jab left. Crunch right, crunch right. So I'm pulling right knee to left elbow. Two jabs on the left, crunch on the right. Okay, we go in three, two. Let's go. Let's go. Hit it. Hit it. Crunch. Crunch. Hit it, hit it. Crunch, Crunch. There it is. Boom. Boom. Taking that arm across the body. Core nice. Core right there. Upper body, lower body. Nice. You can always slow these moves down if you need to. Crunch and crunch. Hit twice. Boom. Hit twice. Boom. Hit twice. Boom. Twist through that core. Nice. Ten more seconds here. You got this, team. You got this, team. Boom. Nice. Right here. Finish final four. Three, two, one. Awesome job. Walk it out. Let's keep the left foot planted, just like we did last time. Right leg is gonna go front lunge, drive or tap. Back lunge, drive, front lunge, drive, back lunge, drive. Rachel's just going to shorten the stance. You don't have to go as deep into a full lunge if you don't want to. Stepping back in three, two. Let's go. Hit back, drive. Hit front. Drive. Hit back, drive. Hit front. Drive. Nice work. It's back up and front. Find that balance as you pull that knee up. Engage that core. Squeeze, squeeze. Nice. Right here. I'm driving through this front heel. Driving through this front heel. Stand me up. Down, drive. Down, drive. Nice work. You got this, team. 10 more seconds here. Then punches and crunches on that other side in 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1. Nice work this time. Two punches on the right arm, two crunches on the left. So hit twice here, hit twice here. That's we're gonna go. We're just gonna walk it out in between get your steps. Yeah. Get our steps in. In between these moves. I like it. There we go. Nice ste feet. We punch in three, two. Let's go, let's go. Punch, punch, crunch, crunch. Punch, punch, crunch, crunch, Punch twice on that right arm. Crunch twice, left knee to right elbow. Boom, boom, boom. Cross, cross, drive, drive. Nice work, team. You got this, guys. You got this. Low impact cardio and strength. Nice work. Boom, boom. A great beginner workout. A great workout to add on to any workout, or a great workout just to move your body because you want to. Let's go. 4, 3, 2, 1. Nice. Now that right leg is gonna stay steady. We have that pass through, lunge, the front lunge, the back lunge. So I'm gonna start by stepping back on my left leg. We're gonna go into that lunge, knee, drive, lunge, knee, drive. All right, that's we're gonna go. Let's walk it out in between. I like getting those steps in. It's the name of the game. Here we go in 3. Step back. 1. Let's go. Step back. Drive. Step forward. Drive. Take it back. Driver, tap in between. Nice work. Up. Nice. I feel like this is a great option if you get to the end of the day and you're like, I've been sitting at my desk, haven't moved all day. I just wanna stand up, shake it out, you know? Right. I don't wanna sit. I don't wanna go to the mat. I just wanna stay all standing. I love that. That's a great point, Rachel. There's some of those days where I have that intention of, like, I'm gonna go for a walk. I'm gonna get that workout in over lunch, and it just doesn' half comes in. Great. End of the day, shakeout. I love it. Five, four. Nice. Three, two. You're out. Nice work. Walk it out, walk it out. We're gonna move laterally. So you're gonna go two to the left, then you're gonna squat, reach, squat, reach. Get low. Two to the right. Squat, reach. So take a giant step, right? We're gonna go two to the left first. Two to the left. That's where we go in three, two. Let's go. Let's go. Two to the left. Squat. Reached it low. Take it two to the right. Squat, reach. Can those fingers tap the mat? And then can you give me a calf raise at the top? Take it down, lift. Down, lift. Get low, walk two down, up, down, up. Get low, down. Nice work, you guys. Make it big. Make it big. Two to the Right down, reach, down, reach. Finish strong. Final five, four, three, two, one. Walk it out, walk it out, walk it out. Nice work. Nice work. We're gonna stay standing cross behind jack. So as I jack, tap behind, tap behind. Hit, hit, hit. Like a little curtsy lunger. Skater like a skater. Bridge behind you. A jack but a tap back. All right, that's where we go. In 4, 3. Left leg behind you. Hit, hit, hit. There it is. Hit back, hit back. Make the arms nice and big. Tap back, tap back, little skater jacks. Nice work. Stay low in those legs. Slight hinge forward as you tap that opposite leg behind you. Nice work. There it is. Halfway there. 20 down, 20 to go. You got this. This is move nine of ten. You guys move eight of ten. Move eight of ten. Move eight of 10. Finish nice and strong. You got this right here, right here for four. Three, two, and walk it out. Nice work. Squat opposite hand reaches opposite toes. Squat right hand to left toe. Come up, hop, hop. Down, hop. Up, down, up, up, down. Right. We're just gonna do the same thing. Little hop, gonna get that heart rate up. Little bone density improving. Right hand hits left toe in three, two. Let's go. Hit. Up, up, hit. You make these little hops as big or as small as you want to. Like I said, these little. Little tiny hops, really good for increasing bone mass. Bone density, right. Really good for our joints. Nice. Our ligaments to stay nice and strong, increasing blood flow to all those tiny joints and ligaments. Nice work, guys. Awesome. Fun way. Move in a couple directions, reaching across the body. Nice. 10 seconds here. Move nine of 10. You got one more after this. Hup, hup. Hit. Up, up. Come on. Four, three, two. You're out. Nice work. Walk it out. One more, one more. All right. This kind of a fun one. A little bit, like, dancer move. You're gonna go. Yeah. 1, 2, 3, 4. Up, 2, 3, 4. Side, 2, 3, 4. Up, 2, 3, 4. Rachel's gonna half time. And 2 and 2. Hit right in 3, 2. Let's go, let's go. 1, 2, 3, four. 1, 2, 3, Four. Side, 2, 3, four. High, 2, 3, four. Side, 2, 3, Four. High, two. Nice. You can add those arms if you want. 2, 3, 4. Sorry, Rachel, I got off. 2, 3, 4. 1, 2, 3,4. I can't do that. We don't do dancing workouts. There's too much rhythm. I have no rhythm. 1. I'm laughing at myself. That's the funny part about this workout. 1, 2, 3, 4. Is no one's watching you. You're doing it at home. No one cares what you look like. For the record, I have no rhythm. 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1. You're just moving your body. You're just moving your body and having fun while doing it. Thanks for showing up and moving your body with us today. We hope you love this 10 minute workout and we hope to see you back on the mat soon. Awesome job knocking out that workout. I hope you loved it. If so, hit subscribe to my YouTube channel.
