And of course, we're gonna add a little bit of high intensity to it so you can expect it to be a upbeat barre Pilates class. I'm joined by the amazing Rachel. Hi. She'll be offering modifications throughout today's workout, especially some of the core sequences. So if you need to modify, go ahead and follow along with Rachel. We are just going to flow from mat to standing and back to the mat today for the workout. And we're going to be using some light hand weights. I have anywhere from 5 to 10 pound dumbbells with us, so grab some light hand weights if you have them. You can grab soup cans, whatever you have available, or you can do this entire program with just your body weight. You get to decide either way. We're going to get up, we're going to get moving and jump right in with a good warmup. So let's go ahead and and get started. We are just going to start with some knee hugs, so you can just hug your knee up. Hug your knee up. Add a little arm sweep and hug, sweep and hug, sweep and hug. Just pulling those knees up, warming up those hip flexors. Getting them nice and awake. Nice. Go four, go three, two, and one. Let's find a first position here. Heels in, toes out. Let's go. Side body, reach to the right. Back to center. Releve. Do it again. Side body, reach to the left. Back to center. You can do releve with a little shoulder raise. Reach right and releve. Nice reach left and releve. Releve is just simply transferring our weight from our heels to the balls of our feet, like a little calf raise. There we go. One more. Nice. Right here. Now I'm going to take this leg out. Heel slightly up towards the ceiling. All right? Arms can come out. You're going to draw a rainbow. Rainbow, lift and crunch. There it is. Rainbow, rainbow, lift and crunch. So I'm just drawing a nice rainbow or a half rainbow, half circle. I should say half circle with this toe. And then lifting that knee up that elbow right there. Nice. Half circle, lift and crunch. Or a rainbow. One more, one more. Nice lift and crunch. Awesome job. From here, take it nice and wide. Second position, take it down and up. Big sweets. Down and up. Big sweeps. Inhale down. Exhale, push. Inhale down. Exhale, Push down. And up. Nice work right there. Go. 4. 3. Hold it low. In 2 and 1. Hold it nice and low. Lift right heel, then left heel. Option to lift those heels off the ground. Go. 4, 3, 2, 1. Option to keep both heels lifted. I really want you to think about tucking your pelvis towards me or decreasing the space between your ribs and your hips. Slide that back down the wall. Tiny pulses. 8, 7, 6. You got it. 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1. Stand nice and tall. Walk it in. Take your right heel up towards the ceiling. Arms can come out. Draw the half rainbow again. Rainbow, rainbow, lift and crunch. Nice. Rainbow, rainbow, lift and crunch. Nice. You want to keep your heels slightly up towards the ceiling. And that's going to increase the recruitment of the inner thigh right there. If you want to target the inner thigh, core turned on. Lift and crunch. Nice. Half circle, lift and crunch. Two more. Two more. Half circle, lift and crunch. One more. One more. Half circle, lift and crunch. Now take that right leg. Wrap it all the way behind. Drop into a curtsy. Reach up overhead. Curtsy, tap, curtsy, tap, curtsy, tap. Activating the glute. Right here. 4. Nice. 3. Awesome. 2. And 1. Switch it out right into that other side. Standing on the right leg. Left leg wraps around. You're gonna reach overhead. Curtsy, tap, curtsy, tap, curtsy. Woo. Find that balance. There it is. Curtsy, tap, curtsy. Go. Four. Nice. Three. And. And two. And one. Let's take it to the back of our space. Plank. Walk out so hands are going to hit the mat. Walk all the way out option. Drop the belly. Roll the shoulders back. Toes can go down on the mat. Tuck the toes. Find that plank and walk it back in. Nice work. Reach all the way up. Take it down again. Walk out into that high plank. Option to drop. Roll the shoulders back. Open things up. You can drop to all fours like Rachel. Take a cat. Cow. Tuck the toes. Walk it up one more time. Right here. Hands at the mat. Walk out. Drop and stretch. Roll the shoulders back. That feels really good. Awesome job. Tuck the toes right here. Step your right foot outside your right hand. Big reach. Gaze up towards the ceiling. Set it down. Switch it out. Left foot outside left hand. Big reach. Nice. Let's do it again. One more each way because it feels really good. Great way to open up those hips, those glutes. Set it down. Switch out. Big reach. Nice. Find that high plank option to take a push up or hold your plank down and up. Hold it here. Drop to all fours. Let's all together reach the opposite arm and leg away. Bird dog and pull in. Switch out. Reach and hold. Pull in. Switch. Little bird dog, reach. Pull it in. Bird dog, reach. Pull it in. Nice. Go. Four. You got it. Three. Nice work. Two and one. Set it down. That right knee is going to draw a big half circle all the way up and around and bring it back. Nice little hip controlled articular rotation. Or taking your hip through that full range of motion. So draw a big circle with the knee and then draw it back. Nice. Set it down. Tuck the toes. Hover in this bear crawl for four. Three. Feel the low ab. Fire up. Two and one. Set it down. Big circle with the left knee. Drop big circle. Up, back and around. Nice. Bring it back. Set it down. Nice. Up, back and around. There you go. Very nice, you guys. Two more, two more right here. Take that hip through a nice big full range of motion. Bring it back. Nice work. Last one, last one. Full range of motion. Set it down. Tuck those toes. Hold them here. Hold the bear curl for three. Two hips. Go high. Pedal at your heels. Nice. You made it through the warmup. Awesome job, you guys. Great work. Pedal those heels. Rachel and I are actually going to transition. You can hold that down, dog. We're going to go to the side so you can just see a little bit better what we're going to be transitioning to. Okay. Option to follow along with Rachel. We'll show the modification first. How about that? So everybody's up and down, dog. Here we go. One leg's going to lift high towards the ceiling. Let's say it is my left leg that is reaching high towards the ceiling. And then I'm going to set my left knee on the mat. Lift my right leg high. Nice. Left leg goes long. Three legged down, dog. Set the right knee on the mat. Lift the left leg. Nice. Right here. Left leg high. Left knee to mat. Right leg lift. Nice. Warming up the core, the shoulders and the glutes. Getting into our plank sequence here. Nice. Left leg high. Set it down. Option A, you're going to stay right here. Option B, you're going to pull. Knee to elbow. Lift up, down, kick it back. Left knee to elbow. Lift up, down, kick it back. So option to stay with Rachel, option to join me. A little bit more core focused here, A little bit more advanced. Scaling up, drawing up and down that elbow. Two more, two more. Here we go. Knee to elbow. Draw up, draw down. Kick it back. Last one, last one. Draw up. Draw down Kick it back. Hold high. Tiny pulses. Heel towards the ceiling. Go. 8, 7, 6. You got it. 5, 4, 3, 2. Set it down. Transition high. Plank. 4. Push ups. Knees or toes. Go. 4, 3, 2, 1. Same thing. Other leg. I gotta transition. My hair is what I need to transition. Should have bubbled that today. All right, here we go. Left heel or. Sorry. Right heel. Right heel. High to the ceiling this time. Set the right knee down. Lift the left leg. Plant. Nice. Lift high on the right. Set it down. Lift on the left, high on the right. Set it down. Lift on the left. You know where we're going. Your option is gonna be you're gonna stay right here with this move. Option B. Scale it up with me. Push back. Draw. Right knee, right elbow. Lift. Up, down. Kick it back. Draw. Knee to elbow. Lift. Up, down. Kick it back. Knee to elbow. Up, down, kick it back. Yes. You are doing so great. Come on. Up, down. Kick it back. Two more. Two more. Lift. Up, down, Kick it back. One more. One more. Lift. Up, down. Kick it back. Plant the feet. Shift forward. Hard plank. Four more push ups and you drop to your knees. Go. 4, 3, 2, 1. Drop to all fours. Nice work, you guys. Find a weight, find a way. You are doing so great. Weight's gonna come into my left hand. Palm is gonna face up towards the ceiling. Weight is optional. Bird dog, reverse reach. Bird dog and reach. Bird dog and reach. Nice. So it's like a little scoop out, scoop out, Pull in, scoop out, Pull in. Go. 4. You got it. Go. 3. Nice work. Go. 2. Last one. Pull out. Keep your leg high. Can you give me bicep curls for 8? 7. Nice. 6. Hold that leg nice and steady. Final three, two and one. Set it down. Hold here. Walk your hands out. Over. Chest is over. This dumbbell. Drop in. Hover. Hover. 8, 7, 6. 3 point. Hover. Come on. 4, 3, 2, push. Up and back. Switch out. Dumbbell comes over to the right hand. Left leg is going to reach out as I scoop out. Scoo. Pull in. 8. Nice. 7. You got it. 6. Stay with it. 5. Reach that weight away. Farther is harder. Final three, bicep curls in two and one. Hold the leg. Just that arm curl. 8. 7. Nice. 6. You got it. 5. 4. Yes. 3, 2, 1. Set the weight down. Walk your hands to split it. Drop the chest and hover. Three point. Hold. Hold for eight. Seven, six. You got it. Five, four, Three, two and one. Nice work. Push up and back. Take a quick stretch if you need it. We're gonna transition. Way to go, Rachel. So humbling. I'm like shaking already. Always take that same weight. You're gonna hold each head of the dumbbell. We're going to go into a three point stance here. So right knee on the ground, left toes are kicked out. Take this weight. I'm going to hinge over to the right, then press the weight overhead, come back to center. Hinge, hold and press center. So you're really going to fire up the obliques both sides in this move. Reach that dumbbell away. Bring it in. Nice. You should feel a little bit more weight on the right shoulder. That's normal. We're going to do the other side. Right shoulder's taking a little bit more brunt of the work. And reach away. You're thinking about lengthening each time you reach that dumbbell away from your body. Think about lengthening. How far can you get that weight away from that left toe? Come on, reach. Yes. Back to center. Tilt, reach. One more. One more. Yes, you can. Tilt, reach. Bring it in. Awesome job. Come down. Weight comes over into the right hand. Here we go. I'm not going to kick Rachel in the face. Or you can just put both hands on the ground. It doesn't matter. Actually, I'm going to go. I'm going to go right hand on the ground here. For really good stability, we're going to draw rainbows with our left leg. Left glute. So left toe comes behind and here drawing that rainbow again. A lot of rainbows today. Tap the toe, lift around. It's like a big curtsy. So my left toe is sweeping behind my right knee. Left toe is sweeping behind my right knee. Right there. Squeeze through those glutes. Go. Eight. You got it. Seven. You want to make it harder. Your toes never hit the ground. There's constant tension. Seven. So much control. Yes. Nice work, team. You have four. Nice. Three. Awesome job. Two and one. Set. Both knees down. Switch it out. Here we go. Right toes kick out up here. Come up to this weight. We're going to tilt. Tilt over to the left. Reach over to the left. Left shoulder is going to take a little bit more. Now come back center. Nice. Engage those obliques. Fire up. Back to center. Tilt. Reach in center. Tilt, reach. If you need a little extra knee support, you could put a cushion under your knee that is on the mat. Nice work. Center, Tilt, reach, center. Yes. Nice work. Reach, center. Come on. Yes. You can go for four. Nice. How much length can you create? Reach it away. Reach it away. Two more. Two more. Tilt, reach, center. One more. One more. Tilt, reach, center. Set it down. Set it down. I'm going to drop now my left forearm to the ground. Rainbows with my right toe. Really trying to target here. My outer glute. My glute med. Here we go. Draw that rainbow. Rainbow. So the toe comes behind my left knee. Up and around behind my left knee. Up and around. Up and around. So much control. So much control. You're not swinging that leg. You are actively taking it through this range of motion, actively controlling that muscle group. Think about that. Outer glutes, that outer hip really working for you. Contracting the entire range of motion. Contract and lengthen. Contract and lengthen. Yes. Come on. You got this. Four more. Go. Four. Nice work. Go. Three. You got this. Two. Awesome job. Last one. I'm in a kneeling position right here. We're going to add a little bit of intensity. Rachel's going to take it up to a standing position. For those of you who don't want to do this on your knees, Rachel's going to give you a squat with a knee lift. You could go into a full crunch if you want to. I'm going into a power. Get up, bound. Down, down, switch, bound, join when you're ready. So you go up, drive back to kneeling. Up, drive. Nice. Either way, you skin it. You're doing a little bit of a squat and a single leg lift. Come on. Adding a little bit of a bound with me. There we go. Come on. Gonna add some intensity, some power. Like I said, this is a bar pilates fusion workout. We're gonna challenge you, we're gonna test you, and we're gonna add some power. Let's go. You have four. Nice work, team. Three. Stay with me for two. Last one, Last one. All the way up. Shake it out. Grab a quick sip of water. Nice work, Rachel. Nice work, Lynn. Awesome job. Always fun. Mix it up right. Always fun. Always fun. Grab one weight. Grab one weight. Toes hold each other. Punch down, press out. One more. Punch down, press out. Hold it down, hold it down, hold it down. Can you press your palms into this weight? Activate your chest. Activate tiny pulses down pulse. 8, 7, 6. You got it. 5. Isometric hold in 3. 2. Hold here, hold here. Push into that weight as hard as you can. Option, come up into relevant on your toes. Hold it here. Drop your seat. Squeeze your inner thighs together. Squeeze that dumbbell. Eight. Seven. Six. You got it. Five. Stay with it. Four. Three. Two. Drop the heel. Stand up. Shake, shake, shake. Okay, standing on the left leg this time. Right heel comes up towards the ceiling. Half rainbow. You ready? Half rainbow. Lift. Crunch. Half rainbow. I didn't have. That was like a fake. Half rainbow, half rainbow. Crunch. I like that you can do this at. Because I'm someone who struggles to feel graceful sometimes, you know? And so doing at home, it's like it doesn't matter what you look like. You're doing your best, you know? I love that. Rachel, no one cares what you look like. No one's watching you. Just take it at your pace. Right? Bard is definitely not come naturally to me. I am not a graceful dancer by any means or any scope of the imagination. Two more. Two more. This is your last one. Nice, nice. Transfer the weight into that right hand. Left leg is forward. Right leg wraps behind. Find that curtsy. Curtsy, punch and tap. Curtsy, punch and tap. Curtsy, press and tap. Nice work. Way to go. Way to go, Lynn. Super fun, you guys. These are always fun. They're out of my comfort zone a little. A little. You know, it's always fun to do something new. A nice little fun flow. Nice work. And then we're switch it up. Other side right here. Knees are driving into the mat. Splitting my shin with my chest right here. Awesome job. Stretching through this outer glute. If this knee is actively driving into the ground, you're also going to feel this here. Come up. And now drive this knee into the ground. Lift this back heel off the ground, activating that outer glute again just so you can feel it's there. Trust me, it's there. Set it down. Lift up. Nice work, you guys. Set it down. Go ahead. Find a butterfly stretch. We're gonna really open those hips. Draw the soles of your feet together. Sit up nice and tall.
