30-Minute Barre Workout (Sculpt + Burn)

In this 30‑minute at‑home barre class, instructor Lindsey Baumgren (NurseMoodLove) leads viewers through a full‑body sculpt routine, joined by assistant Rachel who offers modifications. The session begins with a brief introduction, equipment suggestions (light hand weights 2‑10 lb, a chair or countertop for balance), and a warm‑up that includes marching, hip circles, lunges, and dynamic leg swings. Lindsey then moves into a mat‑based core segment featuring high‑plank, down‑dog, leg curls, modified forearm planks, side‑plank variations, and a series of push‑up and plank holds. After the core, the class transitions to standing barre work in “second position” using light weights, focusing on pulses, punches, curtsy‑fly pushes, and rhythmic low‑impact cardio to raise heart rate. The routine continues with weighted lunges, curtsy‑push sequences, and a series of scoops, kicks, and hip‑centric movements that emphasize glute and inner‑thigh activation. The workout concludes with a cool‑down that includes spinal rolls, hip‑opening stretches, and gentle mat work, followed by a community call‑to‑action encouraging viewers to subscribe, join the channel, and explore related barre challenges. Throughout, Lindsey provides cueing language, breathing prompts, intensity checks, and encouragement, while Rachel offers optional modifications for lower‑impact or beginner levels.

Hi, I'm Lindsey Baumgren of NurseMoodLove, and this is your barre sculpt at home. If you love at home workouts, hit subscribe to our YouTube channel. Or better yet, hit that join button and become a member of our YouTube community. You guys are constantly asking us for more barre workouts. So we are back in action with a barre sculpt at home. And I'm joined by the amazing Rachel. Hi. She'll be offering some modifications throughout today's workout, especially on those core exercises. So take it at your pace. All you're going to need today are some light hand weights. We have anywhere from 2 to 5 pounds. You could go up to 10 pounds, or you could do this entirely with just your body weight. All right, so you're going to take this at your level. It is a barless bar workout. So we don't have a true bar, but we're going to do a lot of bar exercises in an at home environment. We also have a chair off to the side here that we're going to be bringing into play for some balance support. So you could grab a chair, a countertop, a couch, whatever you have available. You ready to get warmed up? I love it. Let's go. All right, we are just going to flow, you guys, from one sequence to the next. We're going to do some plank, we're going to do some chair, some arabesque second position. We're going to flow through it all. So go ahead, follow along. We're gonna get started with a warm up. Big inhale, long body stretch. Exhale. Pull the other knee to the chest. Take it out towards the armpit, opening up that hip. Take it back to center. Send the leg long. Option to climb up the calf shin. Point the toe. Flex the foot for 4, 3, 2, and 1. Pull that knee in and then rotate it across the body. Shoulders stay connected to the mat. Nice spinal rotation. Awesome work. Bring it back to center. Cross the ankles. Roll yourself up to a seated position. High five your neighbor or yourself. Awesome job. We hope you loved it and we'd love to see you back on the mat for another workout soon. Awesome work on that bar sculpt class. I hope you loved it. If so, hit subscribe to our YouTube channel.
