When I'm traveling. This is my go to full body workout with a mini band. All right, team, we have an awesome full body workout using just your body weight and a mini loop resistance band. I'm going to be using a medium to heavy band throughout this entire workout, but that is all you're going to need. And Rachel is going to be offering all standing modifications. So if you don't want to hit the mat, you follow along with Rach. She's got your all standing modifications with a mini band. We're gonna jump right in. It is a quick and dirty full body workout. I have seven full body circuits for you. Each circuit has two exercises. One strength move and one power move. You're gonna do the moves back to back. So it'll be 40 seconds of strength right into 30 seconds of power, followed by a 20 second transition and rest. And then you'll go back to the top, Repeat it times 2, and move on to the next circuit. It's gonna be a lot of fun, especially if you love that strength and power combination. We're going to knock it out. Let's get started with a full body warmup. Actually, I'm going to use my band for the warm up. So go ahead, grab your band, loop it around your thumb, and just give me a big reach. Big inhale, Big exhale. Now let your right hand pull your left hand over to the side. Side body lean. Tension on the band. Open the obliques, open the lap, come back to center. Other side. Big inhale through the nose. Exhale. Left hand pulls down, opening up the right obliques, the right abs, side abs and lats. Nice work. Bring it back up to center. Awesome job. From here, we're going to do a squat with a press out. So squat, push out, stand up, squat, push out and up. That band is looped around the thumbs. Just a little bit of tension. Nice. Pushing those arms out is going to force that core to turn on. Think about sitting the hips back, pushing the floor away. Sit the hips back, push the floor away. Nice. We're gonna get nice and warm and then we're gonna jump right into today's workout. It's gonna be a lot of fun, you guys, especially a good full body workout when you're traveling. I pack this minivan with me. It is like a go to quick and dirty sweat for three. Nice work. For two. Awesome job. Last one. Here we go. You're gonna hinge over. You're gonna hinge at the hips. You're gonna take the band. Reach up, come down, pull up Row. Nice. Reach up and elbows to hips. Squeeze the shoulder blades together. Reach. Squeeze. Two more. Two more. Reach. Squeeze. Last one, last one. Reach and squeeze. Nice. Now you can take the band. Now you can put it around your calf and ankle area. This is going to be harder. Or you can put it six inches above your knees. The closer the band is to your core, the easier it's going to be. The farther the band is from your core, the harder it's going to be. We never want to place the band on a joint. So not on my ankles or not on my knees. I have it right about where my ankle socks hit my calves. Or you could go six inches above your knees. From here, we're going to go to a side to side squat. So you're just going to squat and squat. Nice work. So stepping outside to side. Nice. Knees should be pushing out away from the body, so there's tension on that band at all times, creating resistance, activating the outer glutes. You have four. Nice work. Three. Awesome job. Two and one. Let's hold here. Transfer the weight to your right leg. Just a tiny little lift on the left. Lift. Activate those outer glutes. Lift. Nice. 3, 2, 1. Now take that left leg and bring it just slightly behind you on 80 weight here, 20 here. And you're just gonna squat, squat. Little staggered stance. Squat. Transitioning most of the weight into this front right foot for 3. Nice work. 2. Switching legs. 1. Stand tall. Standing on my right leg. Left leg is just gonna. Sorry. Standing on my left leg. Right leg does a little lift. Four, three. Nice work. Two, one. Take it to that staggered stance. Down and up, down and up. Nice work. 80% now in that left front foot. Nice. You have four. We're gonna go to Jacks or Taps in three. Nice. Two. One. Bring it back to center. You can jack it. Jack it. Jacks or taps. Jacks or taps. Nice. You want constant tension on that band. Rachel's got your low impact option. Go. 8, 7, 6. You got it. 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. Nice. Now take that band off. Go ahead, take it off. Give those glutes a little bit of rest before you put it on. For the entire workout, take a nice wide stance. Lateral squats. Just sit back center, back center. Can you reach those arms away as you sit? Those hips back into the side, driving off that bent knee for four. You got it. Three. Nice work. Two and one. Bring it up. Let's go. Lateral pushes. Hit side to side. Push side to side. Activate those outer glutes for eight. Seven, eight. Six. You Got it. Five, four, three, two, one. Are you warm, Rachel? She's warm. I'm warm. You're warm. Grab a quick sip of water if you need it. We're going to jump in to your first circuit. I'm going to place the bands right around that calf and ankle area again. We're going to go into those side to side squats and then right into a squat jack. So I'm going to take my band, put it right here. Six inches above the realm. Calf and ankle area, side to side squat. So I'm stepping right, left. Okay, 40 seconds there and then I'm going right into a squat jack. Wide at the bottom. Up wide, up wide. Rachel's gonna stick with that side to side and pick up the tempo a little bit. Okay? Can you give me the reach overhead to raise that heart rate? 40 seconds of strength. 30 seconds of power. 20 seconds of rest. You ready, Rach? Let's go. Let's do it. Let's go. We're gonna attack those legs right out of the gate. Stepping to your right in three, two. Let's go. So it's right and left. Nice work. Side to side. So Rachel's got the band six inches above the knees, making it just as challenging. Really great cue. Especially if you have trouble with your knees caving in during a squat. It's really going to force you to push those knees out into the band. I'm creating a little bit longer lever, placing the band down. Really going to feel these outer glutes. Your glute, Meadow. Fire up right here. Nice work, guys. It is over a minute of consecutive work here. It's gonna feel tough. You got 10 more seconds in this side to side squat and then you're going right into 30 seconds of your Squat Jack. You're there in three, two. Let's go. Squat jacks. Wide, narrow, wide, narrow. Wide, narrow. Nice work, you guys. Keep pushing right here. Come on. 30 seconds of power meant to raise that heart rate. Yes, you can. You can do anything for 30 seconds. Come on, come on. What would it look like if I said 10 more seconds? Then you get that 20 second water break. It's coming for you in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. Rest and recover. Adjust your band if you need to. You're gonna rest for 20 seconds. And we're going right back in. Side to side squats, squat jacks. Do each circuit twice and you're done. Hurry. Tight already. Back to squats in three. Step to your right. And two. Let's go. Hit right, left. Nice work. Really going to Start to feel those glutes fire up. We'll be moving the band around throughout the workout. Don't worry, it's not going to stay here for the entire workout. We'll take it to the upper body. We'll take it to one foot. We'll transition working legs and arms. You got it, guys. Turns out you can do a lot with bands. Oh, yeah. Turns out body weight, you can train anywhere. Very minimal equipment needed. But I always love packing these resistance bands when I'm traveling. They're so easy, so lightweight. They fit anywhere. All right, you ready to pick it up a notch? We go squat jacks in five, four, three, two. Let's go down. Nice. Drop those hips. Give me a nice squat at the bottom. Really starting to feel those legs. Nice work, Rachel. Yes, team, 20 seconds left. Let's go. Push it. Come on. You get a water break after this. Super set. Finish strong. Right here. We're gonna transition to upper body. 10 seconds. Bring it home. Come on. Whoo. You got this. Final five, four, three, two. You're out. Nice work. Band's gonna stay right here for me. Rachel can take the band off. I'm gonna hit the deck and do push ups. Rachel's gonna give you a standing modification using the band. Okay. I'm gonna keep my band right here. One pushup, one toe tap. Rachel's got a press out and a toe tap. If you have two bands, you could keep one band here, one band on your hands. I'm doing one pushup, one plank toe tap. After that, we all come up and we do jumping jacks. Rachel's going to give you a press and tap. I'm giving you a full jumping jack with the band around my calf and ankle or thighs? You decide. That's your 30, and this is your 40. You ready, Rachel? Let's go. Let's do it. One push up, one toe tap. You're there in three, two. Let's go. Push up, tap on the right, Push up, tap on the left. You can take this slow and controlled. You can always do the push up from your knees. Pop to your toes for that plank. Toe tap. You decide if you're with me. You're leading with your chest. Exhale. Push the ground away. Hold a nice, strong plank. Push up, toe tap. Nice working chest, shoulders, tries, and then those outer glutes again. Yes, you can. You're here for 10 more seconds. We all meet. Standing jumping jacks, high impact or low impact in five, four, three, two. Let's go. 30 seconds. Jacket. Jacket. Good old jumping jacks. Come on. 30 seconds. 30 seconds. Jack. Jack it out. You got this jacket or tap it. Band just adds a little extra fire, little extra resistance. Constantly on those legs. Nice work, guys. Come on, push it. Final 10. Let's go. 10, nine. Yes, you can. Just keep moving. Final five, four, three, two. Recover. Those are your two moves in circuit two. Back at it. One push up. One toe tap and then right into those jacks. What is that? 40 plus 30. 70 seconds of work. 1 minute and 10 seconds of consecutive work. It's not easy. Let's go. Set it up. You're on in three, two. Let's go. Push up, toe tap. Push up, toe tap. Come on. How far can you kick that leg out? Create some resistance with your body or with the band. Lead with the chest. Exhale. Hold it nice and tight. Other leg is stabilizing you. Yes. Guys, you got this. One rep at a time. Yes. Come on. This is it for pushups today. This is it for pushups today. 10 more seconds. Nice work. You're up to standing jacks. Standing jacks in four, three, two. Let's jack it. Jacks. Jacks. Jacks. Let's go. Push it. Push it. Come on. 30 seconds. Push that heart rate. Push that power. Jump it out. Nice work. Just keep moving. Yes team. Yes, team. Come on. Water break is on the other side. 10 more seconds. Finish it. Nice work. Back to legs in 5, 4, 3, 2. Recover. Water. 2. Circuits down. Third circuit. We're going to go back to legs. Whenever I don't have weights and I want to make legs harder. 80 here like we did in the warm up. 20 in the left leg. But I'm actually going to wrap the band around my left shoe. Right shin, left shoe. Nice. Good tension on that band. Squat it out. 40 seconds here in a staggered squat. And then you're going to go to a squat. Tap back so it looks like this. Squat, squat. That's your power move. And do each side once. Make it count. 80 here. 20 here. 40 seconds of squats in three, two. Let's go. Squat it out. 40 seconds. Catch your breath. Back to strength. If you don't have access to weights or heavy weights and you want to make something harder, specifically a leg dominant exercise, transition to a staggered stance. Example. Goblet squat is a great example of this. A lot of people don't have a heavy enough weight to challenge them in a goblet squat. Take it to a staggered squat. Really put 80% of the work into this front right leg. Make it harder. Always find a way to challenge Yourself. It doesn't have to be heavier weights. It can be range of motion. It can be reps. We're about to take it to tempo. 5 seconds. You pick up the tempo, you add a tap back and a runner in three, two. Let's go. So squat, run, squat, run, squat, run. This is your 30 seconds. Low impact, high intensity. Down, up, down, up. Activate that rear glute. Run, run. You start to feel the fire building in that front right leg. There it is. Come on. Holy bananas. 10 more seconds. Go, go, go. Yes. Team finish. 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. Recover. Same thing. Other side. Switch your band. Okay, Left shin, right heel of the foot, right sole the foot bands. Wraps around 80 here. 20 here. 40 seconds of squats. 30 seconds of runners stagger squat in three, two. Let's go. Sacred squat. You got this, team. Nice work, guys. One rep at a time. Down, up, down, up. Nice. Really focus on this knee. Don't let it collapse in. Even that band is pulling you back. Don't let this front knee collapse in. Nice, strong front leg. Now when we go bodyweight, sometimes Rachel and I can start cooking. We can just start cruising. Take this at your pace. It's all timed intervals, right? I want you to keep moving for the entire 70 seconds. What does that look like for you? You got 10 more seconds here. You add that runner. You add that runner in five. Let's go. Come on. Add it in three, two. Let's add the runner. Tap, tap, tap. It's a tiny tap back, especially if you have a heavy band. Run it, run it. That left front leg should be talking to you. It should be saying, I am on fire. Lactic acid is building. You are getting stronger right here. Come on, guys. You got this. We go back to upper body after this circuit. Finish strong. 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. More. Holy bananas. Rach, way to go. Yeah. Awesome job. Grab a quick sim. Just add a little fire, right? A little fire, a little intensity. We have a couple of them on the. On the site too. I was trying to find new moves. These are not in the other band workout. So if you're looking for new moves, I'm gonna challenge myself here with a little heavier band. I'm gonna put it around my right foot. Right arm's gonna lock in. Elbow into that right knee. Single arm concentration curl. I'm here for 40 seconds, then I'm gonna lose the band. I'm going into mountain climbers. Drive, drive. Rachel's got a double arm curl for you. Marches or high knees. Standing 40 on the curl. 30 on the climbers, you ready, Rach? Let's go. Let's do it. Grab your band. We go in three, two. Let's go. Curl. Curl. Now I need a strong front knee here. Isometric, okay? Really isolating this bicep right here on the right. Single arm, concentration curl. Nice work. Awesome job. I like how we alternate a little bit of upper body and lower body. You can really hit it all with a band. You're still working during your break? Yeah, right? Nice work, guys. Nice work. Keep pushing yourself. You got 10 more seconds here. In the strength, we drop the band. High knees with Rachel. Climbers with me for 30 seconds. You make that transition in 3, 2, 1. I drop my band. Here we go. Hit the deck. Climb it. Drive those knees towards your chest. Slow. Work fast. It's up to you. Climb that mountain. Shoulders are stacked over wrists, hips. Come on. If you're with Rachel, your knees getting up to the hip. If you're with me, drive your knee towards your chest. Yes, you can. What would it look like if I said final? 10, 9, 8. You got this. 7. Stay with it. 6. 5. 4. 3, 2, 1. Whoo. Confessions of a trainer. Mountain climbers might be my least favorite exercise. That's why I build them in. They're effective. Whole body. I don't love them, but I'm doing them because you're doing them. Doing it together. Stronger together, guys. Here we go. Concentration curl. Other side in three, two. Let's go. Single arm curl right here. Left elbow locked into that left knee. Single arm, concentration curl. You know it's coming. 40 seconds here. Right into 30 seconds of climbers. Come on, give me your best effort right here. Getting stronger together, guys. Stronger together. Maybe climbers aren't your favorite exercise either, but you're gonna do them because I'm doing them, right? We're in it together. Don't leave me hanging. Come on. Keep working, guys. Keep working. Ten more seconds here. Transition back to climbers. I'm gonna give you a longer water break after this one. Go. 3, 4, 2, 1. 30 seconds of climbers right here. Let's go. Drive those knees. Come on. You're working for that water break. You're working for that water break. This is circuit four of seven. This puts us halfway. Let's finish it, then we can enjoy that water. You got this. Just keep driving those knees right here. What would it look like If I said 10 more seconds? Yes, you can keep driving. Keep. Keep pushing. Bring it home right here. Final four. Three, two, one. All right, water break. Grab your water. You earned it. Four circuits down, three left, three left. Okay. I personally love putting half a packet of element electrolytes in my water bottle before every workout. But I said this is my go to traveling workout. And if there is one supplement I could choose to travel with, it would be element electrolytes, hands down, especially when you're traveling. Dehydration comes so easy if you're traveling by plane. The low humidity in the plane can cause fatigue, headaches, and just low energy. I don't know if you've ever traveled with kids like I have, but, you know, low energy is not an option. So you can check every travel bag I own. My purse, my diaper bag, my backpacks, my carry ons, they all have stashes of element all over the place. I love relying on sodium, potassium, and magnesium to keep my energy high and keep me hydrated. Whether I'm sweating it out in a workout or jumping on a plane to travel with my family, it's a great option. And I personally love that there's no sugar added. I feel super comfortable passing my water bottle down to my kids and for a sip as well. If you want to try my favorite electrolytes, which are element, all you have to do is click the link in the description below and you're going to get a free sample pack with purchase. So you can try all the element flavors for free and decide which one is your favorite. I toggle back and forth. I'm currently on an orange kick, but I also love watermelon, raspberry, citrus. Pretty much any of them? Yeah, pretty much any of them. I pretty much like all the flavors. So again, if you want to grab your free sample pack with purchase, click the link in the description below. Stay hydrated, friends. It's how we keep our energy high. All right, Rach, let's go. Cheers to that. All right, guys, we're back in. You got three circuits left. All right, we're gonna go band on hand. You're gonna give me a lateral lunge with an overhead press. You want to go right or left first? Right, she says for the lefties. So you're gonna give me a lateral lunge and an overhead press. Band is looped around my thumb. I hit lateral lunge, overhead press. I'm gonna add a knee drive just for funsies. Rach can give me a tap. We'll go once on the right, once on the left. That's your strength. Move for 40 seconds. And then I'm just gonna hold the band and I'm gonna go front, back, skate, single sided Skater with a little agility hop over here. Rachel's gonna hold. We'll do it once on the right, once on the left. A little bit of power, a little bit of strength. Loop the band around your thumbs, hit left, add the knee drive and press overhead. We go in three, two. Let's go. Hit left, drive, push. So I want constant tension on the band. You're gonna decide how hard this overhead presses right here by how much tension you put on the band. Adding that knee drive is gonna engage my core. Those lower abdominals are going to turn on. Inhale, down. Exhale, drive and push. Starting to feel those shoulders fire up. We're going to go right from this into that agility move. Front, back, hop on the right. Single sided skater just to your left. 10 more seconds here, team. Transition right into that agility room. All right, Single leg skater with Rach. We go in three, two, one. Here we go. Front, back, hit it. Front, back, hit it. So pretend there's a line on the floor right here. I'm trying to jump over. Back side again. Training in all planes. Very three dimensional, very functional, very athletic. Going to get a little jumpy. Going to build some bone mass and bone density and we're going to get athletic today. Yes, team, stay with it. Come on. Five more seconds here in this little jumpy move. You got it. Three, two, you're out. Nice work, Rachel. Same thing. Other side. Loop the band around the thumbs. Let's hit right. Push overhead, balance. Then we'll get a little jumpy. Front back, on the left. Push just to your right. All right team, we go in three, two. Let's go. Hit right, balance, push. Hit right. Balance, push. Hit right, balance, push. Nice work. Really dropping into that bent knee. Driving out of it. Think about absorbing and adding some power on the way. Back up. Stretch that band. Push. Woo. Find that balance. Challenge that core. Really big athletic moves right here. I like this circuit. This is fun. Yeah. Challenge your core. Challenge your balance. Challenge your stability. You got 10 more seconds to in the strength move. We're gonna go back to getting jumpy. Front, back. Single sided skater in three, two. Let's go here on the left. Front, back, hit right. Front back. Hit right. Nice. Over that line. Hit side. Over that line. Hit side. Nice work. Keeping the mind and the body busy today. This is always where I'm like, Lindsay, don't ask me a question. Cause I'm so focused, you know, my brain is blank. Me too. Me too. Woo. Nice work team. Keep pushing. Final five. Four, three, two. And you're out Nice work, Rach. Way to go, guys. Grab some water. Two circuits left circuit six. Back to upper body. Face pulls for the back and shoulders. Squat jack, press Jack. All right. Looping both thumbs in my band again. You can be double or alternating. I'm going to face pull just like it sounds. Pull that band down towards my face for my lats and my shoulders. Keep tension on the band. Squat Jack, push, Jack. Squat Jack, push, Jack. Squat Jack, push Jack. Looks harder than it is, I promise. Face pulls, Squat Jack, push Jack. Here we go. That consecutive work time starts in three, two. Let's go. Face pull. Nice work. Catch your breath here. Pull down towards the face. This is your strength. Chance to slow that heart rate down. Gotta let it come down so it's got somewhere to go. During those squat Jack, push jacks, core is turned on, tailbone is tucked. Think about decreasing the air between your rib cage and your hip bones. That always helps when I go overhead. So you could be here. Butt sticking out. But as soon as you decrease that air between ribs and hips and that cue, I just love. So you're pulling right here. You're here for 10 more seconds. 10 seconds. In the polls, we transition. Squat Jack, press Jack. Squat Jack, press Jack. Low impact with rage, high with me. We go in three, two. Let's transition. Squat Jack, push, Jack. Squat jack, push jack. 30 seconds. Don't cheat it. I want constant tension on that resistance band, keeping those shoulders turned on and fired up. You got this, guys. Come on, one rep at a time. Squat Jack, push Jack. Final 10, final 10. Let's go. 10 more seconds. You can do anything for 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. Rest and recover. One more time through that. Face pulls. Squat Jack, press Jack. And then I'm hitting the deck for core and glutes. Rachel's gonna give you a standing option. Yeah. This and one more circuit. Home stretch team. Face pulls in three, two. Let's go. Down and up. Exhale, pull and reach. Nice work, guys. Core is turned on. Think about that cue. Decreasing the distance from ribs to hips. Nice work. I love this movement. I've been working on pull ups and I feel like this has been so helpful for me to just feel the muscles in my back working. Yes. Huge proponent of pull ups around here. That's something you're working towards. This is a great way. Like you said, a lot of times people just have trouble activating their lat muscle. Great way to do it. Five, four, transition. Squat Jack, press Jack. In three, two. Let's go there. Squat Jack, push Jack. Come on. Nice work. Team. Yes. Awesome job. Come on. Water break. And one more circuit after this. Guys, keep it up. Keep it up. You got this. This is your final power move. We're on the mat then. We're gonna stay on the mat after this. You're gonna go core. 10 seconds. Come on, come on. Finish strong right here. 5, 4, 3, 2. Recover. Nice work. Grab some water if you need it. Van's gonna go six inches above the knees for the final core circuit. Six inches above the knees. Rachel's gonna go back to the wall, give you a standing option. Adding the wall to just add a little bit of balance support if you need it. I'm going into a clamshell lift up with a side plank. Kick out. Okay. Looks like this. Lift kick. I'm here for 40 seconds. Lift kick. Okay, Rachel's got your standing clamshell. And then I'm gonna go into oblique crunches. Up, in and out. Rachel's got a standing oblique crunch. Once on the right, once on the left, and you are done. There's no bonus move. This is it. Finish strong. 40 seconds right here. Oblique clamshell lift off. I got sweaty forearms. We go in three, two. Let's go. Lift and kick. I'm taking it down. Lift and kick. So you're going to feel my inside glute working, my outside glute working. My obliques right here are working. Everything is turned on. Lift and kick. 40 seconds. This move is always pure fire. I don't know what it is about it, but it just challenges me so much. Glad we only got to do each side once. Come on. Finish strong. Finish strong. You're going right from this into Those oblique crunches. 10 seconds here. 10 seconds here. Nice work. You got this, guys. 5, 4, 3, 2, and transition. Oblique crunches. If you're with me, in and out, in and out. I'm here for 30 seconds. Rachel's got to stand. Standing crunch. Nice work. That band's gonna add some fire to Rachel. Nice work, guys. You got it. Once per side. Once per side. Come on, keep crunching. Nice work. What would it look like If I said 10 more seconds? Yes. You can close your eyes and power through for 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. You got two beautiful sides, two beautiful sides. Other side, obliques. Lift and kick. If you're with me here with Rach, standing clamshell. Come on. One minute left of work. Let's make it happen. One minute. We go in three, two. Let's go. Lift off and kick. Bring it back in. Lift off and kick. Nice work, team. Yes. That Band just adds some extra fire right here. Thank this one for my barre days. Teaching barre classes. Clamshell just never disappoints for the outer glutes. And I'm gonna guess nine times out of 10 right now, Rachel's smiling and I am just gritting and baring my teeth and just squinting my eyes to get through this for 10 more seconds, hoping in different ways again. Come on, crunches. Oblique crunches in 5, 4, 3, 2. Let's go. Oblique crunches. Bring it in. Out, in, out. Come on. This is it, guys. Last 30. Right here. You're stretching after this. Finish strong. 20 seconds. Yes, you can. Keep crunching. Finish it. You earned it. Don't quit. Not yet. Not now. Finish strong. Final 10. Let's go. Bring it home. Final 5, 4, 3, 2. Recover. Yes, team. There you go. Yes, team. I love it. Way to go, Rage. So proud of you. Awesome job. We'll stay standing for stretching since we offered all standing options for this workout. That was a high five game. High five I took. That's a high five. You gotta make your own high five. Hey, I love it. I don't know about you. These outer glutes, they are feeling it, right? So I'm gonna take right leg. Wrap it around left leg. Let's just go side body reach. Oh, open up those obliques. Open up those lats. Open up those. Nice. And now can you hold this position? And give me a hip hinge. Push the hips back. Nice work. So proud of you. Nice on wrap. Pull this right heel right to the glute. Stretch out the quads. Remember all those squats we did in those first couple circuits? Remember all of them? I do. You remember? Yeah. Like pure fire. Okay, set it down. Left leg wraps right here. Big oblique reach. Open up the obliques. Open up the lats. Open up these outer glutes. Nice work. Awesome job. Bring it back to center. Hip hinge. Push those hips back. That feels good.
