35-Minute Yoga Sculpt Class (Full Body Flow with Weights)

In this 35‑minute at‑home yoga‑sculpt workout, instructor Lindsey Bomgren (joined by Rachel for modifications) guides viewers through a full‑body routine that blends yoga mobility, weighted strength, cardio bursts, and a calming yoga flow. The class opens with a community‑building intro and a dynamic mat warm‑up (cat‑cow, high‑plank, bear hold, windshield‑wiper core work). It then moves into a weighted strength circuit using 5‑10 lb dumbbells (or body weight) featuring alternating shoulder presses, oblique drops, tricep kickbacks, front raises, bicep curls, lunges with rows, curtsy‑chops, lateral squats, and flyes, with options for kneeling or standing positions. A high‑rep cardio segment follows, offering low‑impact or high‑impact variations (knee‑to‑elbow crunches, double‑bounce jacks, slams, high knees, skater chops). After the cardio, the session transitions to a yoga flow that includes Warrior II, Reverse Warrior, Triangle, Goddess, Sun‑up poses, Chaturanga, Up‑Dog/Cobra, and various standing and seated stretches, emphasizing alignment, breath, and hip opening. The class ends with core work (dead‑bug, chest fly with knee‑tuck, glute bridges, hollow rocks) and a final stretch sequence (happy baby, reverse tabletop, spinal roll). Throughout, Lindsey offers cueing on posture, breathing, modifications, and encouragement, fostering an enthusiastic, supportive atmosphere.

All right, team, we are refilming our most popular yoga sculpt workout that has been on the blog for years. And we're finally refilming it because it's been driving me nuts. In part of the workout, I only do one side of the body, but I promise we'll do both. And the amazing Rachel hi. Is joining to offer modification. She was not in the original workout we filmed years ago, so I'm excited to refilm this yoga sculpt workout. All you're going to need are some dumbbells. I have anywhere from 5 to 10 pound dumbbells. We'll be using lighter weights today. You can absolutely do this with just your body weight. We're going to jump right in. It's going to be a fun flow. We're going to start on the mat, come up to standing and then go back to the mat to finish the workout. Are you ready, Rach? Let's go. All right, we're going to jump right in by going down to the mat. We're going to start in a nice tabletop position. So you're just going to stack your shoulders over your wrists. Your hips are over your knees. We're going to take a couple cat cows to just start. So you're going to drop the belly. I like to wag my tail a little bit. And then you're going to reverse. Your spine goes up towards the ceiling. Nice. I think about pulling my hip bones towards my wrists. Come into a nice neutral, flat back. Let's do it again. Drop the belly, lift the chin, wag your tail if that feels good for you. Nice. And then from here you're just going to reverse it. Spine goes up towards the ceiling. Hip bones pull towards the wrist. Nice. Come into that nice neutral spine again. From here you can bring your big toes to touch. Take a wider stance with your knees. I'm actually going to keep my toes tucked under. We're going to go into a child's pose, but then you're going to launch into a high plank. So you push back, knees hit the mat. Child's pose. Launch into high plank. Drop the knees wide. Child's pose and high plank. Nice. Starting to warm up. Those shoulders start to activate that core. Push into high plank. You have two more just like this to open the knees. Sit back, child pose and high plank. Last one. Knees hit the mat. And this time I want you to set up and hold that high plank so you can bring your feet to touch. If that feels good for you, you can do high plank from a kneeling position. Or you could always go up to an incline by placing your hands on a chair or a bench. From here, shoulders are stacked over wrists. Pull the shoulder blades apart. Pull up on your kneecaps, push back on your heels and start to feel the fire build and your body. We are going to stretch as we work. So you're going to step your right foot outside your right hand. You're going to give me a nice easy twist. Drop your right hand to meet your head. Go for a T spine rotation. So drop your elbow. And now rotate. Open gaze follows the elbow. Drop the elbow. Rotate open. Gaze follows the elbow. Nice. Drop the elbow. Rotate open. You're going to give me one more just like this. Drop the elbow. Rotate open. Right hand replants. Step back. High plank. Same thing. Left side, left foot, outside left hand. Big reach and open. Drop the left hand to the head. Now you're going to drop the elbow and open. Nice work. Same thing. Drop the elbow and open. Think of it as a T spine rotation. So you're ringing out your upper and your mid back hitting. Lots of mobility in that upper mid back. One more. Drop the elbow. Rotate and open. Step back to that high plank. I'm going to switch. Step into what I call a bear hold or a beast hold. Rachel can go to Tabletop where her knees hit the mat. From here, you're gimme two shoulder taps. Tap, tap, push up and back to your first down dog. Heels melt into the mat. Nice. Bend the knees. Knees hover. Shoulder tap, shoulder tap, hips. Go high. Do it again. Knees hover. Shoulder tap, shoulder tap, hips. Go high. Two more just like this. Knees hover. Tap, tap. Push the hips high. Last one, right here. Knees hover. Tap, tap, hips. Go high. Down dog. Hold it here. Press your chest towards your thighs. Pedal out your heels. Take a moment. Big inhale through the nose. Exhale. Pedal it out. Do it again. This time, inhale. Go up to your tiptoes. Exhale. Melt your heels to the ground. Hold that down, dog. Press your chest towards your thighs. Nice. From here, shift forward high. Find that high plank. Windshield wipers. You're going to take that left knee. Go right elbow. Left elbow, elbow. Shoot it back. Right Elbow, left elbow. Shoot it back. Right, left, shoot it back. Windshield wipers. Right, left, shoot it back. Two more. Right, left, shoot it back. One more. Right, left. Hold it here. Tiny pulses up. Eight, seven, six. Rear leg lift. You got it. Four, three, two, one. Drop to the mat. Knees open. Child pose. Press back. Big inhale through the nose. Big open mouth. Left, right, Shoot it back. It's a windshield wiper coming across that core. Nice work. Three more. Three more. Yes, you can. Two more. Two more, cross body. One more. One more, cross body. Shoot it. I'm gonna do it from a kneeling position. Placing a little bit more emphasis on. On the arms. But if kneeling doesn't feel good for you, you can come up to standing. I'm going to grab my 10 pound weights. We're going to rack them at the shoulders, alternating shoulder press. Okay? You're going to give me three of them. One oblique drop. It looks like this. Push right, push left, push right. Hold here. Drop to the left. Bring it up. Left, right. Hold. Left drop on the right. Up, right, left, right. On an oblique, reach down your eyes go to the dumbbell. One, two, three. Eyes on your weight. Tap down. Nice little oblique reach. Nice. Down on the left. Tapping the weight down to the mat. Controlling the core. Up to the shoulders. Lower with control. Whoo. Shoulders are feeling it right, aren't they? Lindsay said she's like. A lot of times a class like this would be heated, but Lindsey's bringing the heat right here. This is real. No heat needed today. Nice. We're gonna move on to lunge sequence. Four more. Four. You got it. Three. It's the high volume of reps that make these 10 pound weights feel really heavy. You've got one more right here. 1. Weights are gonna drop. Palms stay facing you. Tuck your back, toes under. Find a lunge position. So I'm gonna meet Rachel here. She's stepping back to lunge. We drop the back knee upright, row lunge and row lunge.
